💊 Repeat Prescription? Here’s What You Need to Know
Needing a repeat prescription doesn’t always mean you’ll need to see your GP.

If your medication is stable and you’ve had a recent review, your GP may be able to approve your repeat prescription without an appointment.

However, there are times when seeing your GP is the safest option. This may be because:
• Your medication needs regular monitoring.
• It’s time for your routine health review.
• You need blood tests or a blood pressure check.
• Your health or symptoms have changed.
• Your GP wants to make sure your medication is still the best option for you.

These reviews help keep your treatment safe and make sure you’re getting the best care possible.

If you’re not sure whether you need an appointment, our reception team is happy to help. We’ll let you know if your repeat prescription can be processed or if it’s time to book in with your GP.
