I have always said that even if women did not consider systemic hormone replacement therapy, as long as they took low dose internal vaginal estrogen (estriol), this would save a lot of women's lives, and prevent some very horrible pain & gruesome suffering along the way.
The fact is that each year, millions of women around the world are suffering serious health related issues and early death, all due to atrophic vaginitis, now known as Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM).
Atrophic vaginitis (GSM) is the thinning, drying, and inflammation of the vaginal walls and surrounding urinary & ge***al organs, caused by a drop in estrogen levels.
The worst part of this condition is that it is completely preventable, and the naysayers are part of the reason women are dying from horrible & painful deaths each year.
Let me spell it out, because no woman needs to be dying from atrophied uroge***al organs, sepsis (systemic inflammation poisoning their blood stream), chronic abnormal uterine bleeding, and horrific internal pain from dried up shrivelled up organs. This is entirely preventable.
There are no influencer marketed products, or over the counter natural supplements to help this. Women need intra-vaginal estrogen. End of story!
Recent research, published in the journal of urology (Urology, 2026 June 10) now backs up what many of us have been saying for years.
Of the 1,891,956 females studied, those who received low dose internal vaginal estrogen prescription had lower odds of sepsis, hospitalisation, and death. Those not receiving vaginal estrogen had a 60-80% increased rate of death.
Women need to stop listening to the naysayers & misinformed, who have obviously have not seen first hand the horrible & gruesome results of women who have advanced atrophic vaginitis (GSM).
