Tanya Kay Connection • Awareness • Relationship • Real-life integration. Parenting is messy, beautiful and full of teachable moments. This is your invitation to begin.

Together, I will take you beyond behaviour & quick fixes, into deeper understanding of yourself & your children ♥️ With deep honour and an open heart, I am excited to share that I am now stepping forward under the name Tanya Kay. This shift is more than a name change, it’s a rebirth. A shedding of old layers, a return to the essence of who I truly am. It reflects a deepening of my path, my purpose and the way I offer my presence and service in the world. For years, I’ve held space as the heart behind “A Journey of Remembrance,” guiding others back to their truth. That vision is still alive but now it lives through me more fully. I’ve come to realise that I am the living, breathing embodiment of that remembrance. This next chapter is about owning that truth and stepping out from behind the name and allowing myself to be fully seen. Tanya Kay is not just a name, it is the energy I now stand in. Grounded in love, clarity, deep listening and presence. Kay, meaning “keeper of the keys,” speaks to the sacred role I hold in supporting others through life’s transitions, unlocking deeper truths, honouring their pivotal moments and reconnecting them with their own inner knowing. This sacred work is offered online or in person through 1:1 sessions and group journeys. If something here is stirring something in you, I’d love to connect. You’re welcome to explore my current offerings, book a session or simply reach out for a conversation. Whether you have questions, a quiet curiosity or just feel the nudge, send me a message or let’s set up a call.

You know that feeling when someone asks "how are you?" and you say "good, busy" but honestly you couldn't tell them the last time you felt much of anything.

You’re managing. Managing the school run, the emails, the dinner, the version of yourself everyone needs you to be today but you body has been trying to get your attention for a while now.

The tight jaw you only notice at 9pm. The breath that never quite makes it all the way down. The way you sit down to rest and your leg starts bouncing within two minutes. The tears that show up at the most random, inconvenient moments like in the car, in the shower, over something small because maybe that's the only time they could find.

Our 6 week journey is a chance to come back home to your body so you can feel what you've been holding, notice what you've been avoiding and slowly build a different relationship with the parts of you that don't get language, only sensation.

Through movement, breath and guided somatic practice, in a small group of just 8 people, we'll create space for what usually doesn't get space.

If you read this and something in you went "oh that's me," that's not a coincidence. That's your body, still talking, still hoping you can hear it.

Six weeks.
Athenree.
Starting early October.

✨✨✨NEW OFFERING ✨✨✨

Come back to your body is a 6 week nervous system and somatic experience.

Do you ever feel like you’re holding everything together but underneath it all your body is telling a different story?

Maybe you wake up already feeling tired.

Your shoulders are tight without you even noticing.

Your mind rarely switches off.

You’re moving from one thing to the next, constantly thinking about what needs to happen next.

Small things sometimes feel bigger than they should.

Or perhaps you’ve become so used to pushing through that you’re not even sure what your body needs anymore.

You know you need to slow down but slowing down can sometimes feel almost impossible.

You crave more space but when you finally get it, you don’t necessarily know how to settle into it.

And perhaps what you really want isn’t another thing to learn, you just want to feel different.

✨More present
✨More connected to yourself
✨More able to recognise what’s happening inside you before you reach overwhelm
✨More capacity to move through the emotions, demands and unpredictability of everyday life without losing yourself in them

This is exactly what Healing with Andrea and I would love to explore with you.

We’re looking at bringing together an intimate group of just 8 people for a six week in-person journey into the body, nervous system and somatic practice.

This isn’t about sitting in a workshop learning lots of theory, it’s about experiencing, feeling and noticing what’s happening within your own body.

Through somatic movement, body awareness, breath, emotional exploration and guided experiences, we’ll explore the ways your body communicates with you and what becomes possible when you begin to listen.

The intention isn’t to teach you how to be calm all the time, it’s to develop greater awareness, flexibility, capacity and choice, to notice what’s happening within you, understand yourself a little more deeply and discover different ways of meeting what is coming up.

Perhaps instead of automatically pushing through, you learn to pause.

Over the six weeks you’ll experience:

* 6 weekly in-person sessions
* Somatic movement & body awareness
* Breath and nervous system practices
* Exploring emotions through the body
* Guided experiential practices
* Simple practices to bring into everyday life
* Support, questions and sharing through a private group chat between sessions

Investment: $444 per person
Starting Wednesday October 7th at 10am in Athenree, Bay of Plenty

If you’ve been reading this and something inside you is saying YES I think I need this, we’d love to hear from you.

I’ve been thinking about….

How children have a way of stopping for things we walk straight past like a feather or snail crossing the footpath or clouds shaped like dragons or a rainbow hiding in a puddle.

Somewhere along the way, many of us stopped noticing because life became busier, our minds became fuller and our eyes stayed fixed on where we were going instead of what was already here.

Maybe children don’t need us to teach them wonder, maybe they’re quietly trying to teach it back to us.

✨ A pondering…

What has your child invited you to notice recently that you almost missed?

💛 An invitation…

The next time you’re out together, let your child choose when to stop with no rushing and no agenda.

Just follow their curiosity for five minutes and see where it leads.

I’ve been wondering about…

When children say they’re bored, often our first instinct is to entertain them.

Another toy or activity maybe screen time but some of my favourite childhood memories didn’t begin with excitement, they began with boredom.

That’s where the forts were built or imaginary worlds appeared with sticks that became magic wands.

I wonder if boredom isn’t the absence of something, what if it’s the doorway to wonder.

Maybe imagination has always needed a little empty space to come alive.

✨ A pondering…

What if your child’s greatest adventures don’t begin with us planning them?

💛 An invitation…

This week, leave one hour completely unplanned with no activities, screens or suggestions.

Then observe what your child creates when wonder has room to breathe.

MY PONDERINGS

One of the biggest shifts in my life has come from changing one simple question.

I used to ask, why did they make me feel this way?

It seemed like the obvious question after all, someone said something. Someone did something. Someone crossed a boundary.

Of course they caused my reaction or did they?

Lately I’ve been wondering if people don’t create our triggers as much as they reveal them.

That doesn’t mean their behaviour is okay. It doesn’t mean we excuse hurtful words or actions but it does make me curious.

Why did this affect me so deeply? What belief did it touch? What fear did it awaken? What part of me suddenly felt the need to protect itself?

I’ve realised that every trigger carries information. Not information about whether I’m good enough or whether the other person is right.

But information about a part of me that’s asking to be seen with a little more compassion.

For me the trigger isn’t the lesson. It’s the invitation.

An invitation to pause before reacting. To become curious instead of defensive. To understand myself a little more deeply than I did yesterday.

I’ve found that the more I understand myself, the less power my triggers seem to hold.

✨ Today’s pondering ✨

The next time something stirs a strong reaction in you…

Instead of asking, why did they do that?

What might you discover if you asked instead, what is this moment trying to show me about myself?

I’ve been wondering about…

I wonder if one of the greatest gifts we can give our children is permission to be brave before they feel ready because waiting until we feel completely confident often means we never begin.

Children aren’t born believing they have to have it all figured out. Somewhere along the way they learn that mistakes are embarrassing. Or that asking for help means they’re not capable. Or that getting something wrong means they’ve failed.

But what if we taught them something different? What if courage wasn’t about getting it right, What if courage was simply being willing to begin.

Like putting up your hand or asking the question. Maybe to have a go or to say, I don’t know or maybe letting someone help.

Maybe these are some of the bravest things a child can do.

✨ A pondering…

How might your child’s life change if they grew up believing that asking for help was simply part of being courageous?

🌿 A little invitation…

The next time your child asks for help, before rushing to solve the problem, pause and say,

“Thank you for trusting me enough to ask.”

Sometimes courage grows simply because someone recognised it.

MY PONDERINGS

Lately, I’ve noticed a quiet shift in the questions I ask myself.

For years my question was, what should I do next?

It sounds innocent enough but hidden inside that question was another one which was what do I need to do to be enough?

Without realising it, I spent a lot of my life chasing who I thought I should become.

A better version.
A more successful version.
A version that had it all figured out.

There was always another destination waiting for me. It was exhausting!

Now my question feels very different. I now ask myself what feels deeply true?

Not what looks impressive. Not what other people expect. Not what I think I should choose.

Simply, what feels honest?

I’ve discovered that alignment doesn’t always make the loudest noise. Often it’s quiet. It doesn’t push. It doesn’t rush. It doesn’t ask me to prove myself. It simply feels like coming home.

From the outside, a life built on devotion can look very similar to one built on obligation.

The same work.
The same choices.
The same responsibilities.

But on the inside they feel worlds apart. One is driven by pressure. The other by peace.

The older I get, the more I’m learning to trust the feeling of peace.

✨ Today’s pondering ✨

Are your next steps being shaped by who you think you should become or by what feels deeply true for who you already are?

I’ve been wondering about…

What if courage in our children grows in the moments no one applauds, in the ordinary moments we often miss.

Like when they ask for help instead of pretending they’re okay or when they try again after getting the answer wrong.

What about when they welcome someone sitting alone to join them or when they tell the truth even though their tummy feels tight.

I often wonder if we’ve made courage feel too big. Maybe courage isn’t a mountain to climb, maybe it’s a series of tiny choices that shape who our child becomes.

✨ A pondering…

What small act of courage did your child show today that might have gone unnoticed?

✨ A small shift…

The next time your child does something brave, pause before saying, good job.

Instead try asking I wonder how that felt inside you? Where did you feel it? Did it have a colour or a sound?

Helping children recognise their own courage can be more powerful than simply praising it.

13/07/2026

I’ve been wondering about…

What if courage isn’t something we teach children, what if it’s something we help them remember.

Somewhere along the way many children begin believing that courage means not feeling afraid.

So they wait. They wait until they feel more confident. More certain. More ready.

But I believe courage has never been about the absence of fear. I see it as the shaky hand that still reaches out or the child who asks, “Can I try?”

Maybe it’s the child who gets back up after falling or the one who says sorry.

It could also be the child who walks into a new classroom with butterflies dancing in their tummy.

Maybe courage has always looked quieter than we imagined. I’m believing more and more our role isn’t to tell children to be brave. I believe it’s to help them recognise the brave moments they’re already living.

Imagine if every time they noticed their own courage they begin to trust themselves a little more.

✨ A pondering…

If your child only learned what courage looked like by watching you, what would they see?

MY PONDERINGS 12th JULY

Something I’ve been sitting with lately is the difference between fixing and healing.

For a long time I believed if I just read one more book…Did one more course…Healed one more wound…Found one more missing piece…Then I’d finally feel whole.

But somewhere along the way I realised I was approaching myself as though I was broken and that belief quietly shaped the way I lived.

Now I see it TOTALLY differently.

Healing isn’t about becoming a better version of yourself. I believe it’s about uncovering the parts of you that fear, conditioning and life experiences asked you to hide.

Maybe the joy that became “too much.” Or sensitivity that became “too emotional.” Or voice that became “too loud.” Or the dreams that became “too unrealistic.”

None of those parts needed fixing. They simply needed permission to come home.

The more I journey through life, the less I believe healing is about adding something new. It feels more like remembering what was always there beneath the stories I came to believe about myself.

✨ Today’s pondering ✨

What if there is nothing fundamentally wrong with you?

What if the greatest act of healing is remembering who you’ve always been?
