In Shamanic work we encounter our ego in many forms.
"I can't do this"
"I'm doing it wrong"
"I don't see anything"
It always shows up somehow. We come at the work with our perceived limitations and the practice of journeying asks us to expand.
BOOM!
That's when the questions come up.

That's what happened last night.
Then a wonderful liberating energy showed up in the form of the goddess Kali, and so we worked with her to let's some of those old restrictions and self doubts go.

It is one of many little deaths that this practice will invite you into.

I am co-facilitating a three day residential retreat in April 2027 and this is what I want you to know about it.

Waking the Body's Voice Retreat is three days on the Kapiti Coast with me and the brilliant Bruony Rogers of Heartsong Healing. We will be working with vocal practices, experiential astrology, somatic movement, cacao and fire ceremony, and generous space to integrate all of it.

This is for anyone who wants to come and learn to take up their own space. To clear the blockages to their self expression. To feel at home in their body and find out what their voice is actually capable of.

The timing matters. April 9-11, 2027 sits in the final days of Jupiter retrograde in Leo, right before it stations direct. If you know your astrology, you already know what that means for voice, heart, and self expression. If you don't, come anyway.
