These are Jericho Flowers (Selaginella lepidophylla), also known as Resurrection Moss, they are an ancient spikemoss from the Chihuahuan Desert (southwest USA & Mexico).

My studio will be open to the public this weekend from 9am-1pm on Sunday and Saturday.

I will be available all weekend to create custom flower essence remedies, rune essence remedies, homoebotanical remedies, incense blends and herbal teas. Sample my curated range of botanical incense and try my magical herbal teas.

My botanical dispensary is freshly stocked with organic herbs, flowers, barks, roots and wildcrafted tree resins. A new shipment of smudge sticks has just arrived and I have White Sage, Cedar, Yerba Santa, Juniper, Black Sage, Desert Sage, Mugwort, Wormwood and Palo Santo sticks available.

A native flower that helps us dig deep and access our power and will.

Poroproro is a native shrub endemic to New Zealand. A fast-growing shrub reaching 2–4 m tall with green to dark purple stems and narrow, dark green fleshy leaves that are deeply lobed, with young plants showing especially cut foliage.

Poroporo flowers and produces fruit throughout the year. It has large violet-purple flowers with a bright yellow projecting centre. Its smooth yellow-to-orange berries are relatively large (30–40 mm) and poisonous when unripe, becoming less toxic as they mature.

Its seeds have the ability to lay dormant in the soil for large periods of time, often emerging from the soil after it has been disturbed especially on fire damaged land. They are fast growing plants in correct conditions, but have a very short lifespan.

Poroporo is the Willpower Essence. It is associated with the astrological sign of Scorpio and it is a constitutional essence for those born between 11th - 20th November. It’s also a plant ally for those who have planets in the sign of Scorpio between 20°-29°59’.

Poroproro essence helps us to dig deep and access our personal will and our power. It promotes personal resolve, responsibility and discipline, supporting us to bring about change and transformation and become the conscious creator of our own destiny.
