Skin Aware's mission is to reduce the mortality rate of Melanoma in New Zealand. With NZ having the highest rates of skin cancer in the world and an ageing population the need to raise awareness has become more urgent than ever. Skin Aware offers a personable, professional, compassionate service to workplaces focusing on early detection and prevention of skin cancer. This is done through education sessions, screening clinics and liaison support. Our staff are real carers, with strong values and a highly professional attitude.

We’ve supported the Taranaki & Whanganui Special Children’s Extravaganza since 2022, but this year was a little different because Chelsea got to actually be there.

Held at TSB Stadium on 15 August, the day brought together so many special children and their families for a day of fun, connection and plenty of smiles.

It was lovely to see first hand what this event means to the families who attend, and to be part of something that creates such special memories.
