For one night, the year holds its breath. The longest dark. The turning point. The moment before light begins its slow return.

On the eve of the winter solstice, we gather to meet this moment with intention.

Join Nadine and Yasi this Saturday, 20 June for Still & Sacred is an evening of cacao, gentle breathwork, yin yoga and sound.

It is not a class. It is a ceremony of presence. A chance to meet the darkness with softness rather than resistance, to be held in community at the most instinctive time of year for slowing down.

Book via the REVA app or website.

New Class with .m.mason on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12.15pm - Soft Vinyasa Flow ✨

Rest, regulate and restore.
A calming, beginner-friendly practice blending slow vinyasa with yin-inspired shapes. Move gently, pause often and soften into longer supported poses - perfect if you are new to yoga or a seasoned yogi craving a gentler pace to support your nervous system.

Natasha brings her signature embodied flow teaching style to this practice, combined with her passion for Yin and deep love for music. A treat for the senses on these cooler wintery days under the infra red panels in studio.

New schedule available from this week 🤎

We are thrilled to welcome Tineke Duyvestyn to our teaching team 🤎

Over the past 15 years yoga has deeply woven itself into Tineke’s everyday life, transforming how she views and moves through the world. She came to yoga for the same reasons she teaches it – because showing up changes things. Understanding firsthand how much this practice gives and transforms. Tineke feels grateful for every single class, knowing what a privilege it is to hold space for others and share with them the yogic tools that help us navigate life. She teaches a range of styles, easily transitioning from slow and deep practices like yin and restorative, to strong, dynamic vinyasa classes that will leave you sweating, laughing, and completely grounded in your body.

Before settling in New Plymouth with her husband and two cats, Tineke wandered the world travelling, surfing, and taking photographs, constantly learning/unlearning along the way. These days you’ll most likely find her living out her dream of being a cat: curled up in a sunny spot, doing weird sporadic stretches, whilst deeply engrossed in a good novel with a cuppa tea.

You can experience Tineke’s teaching every Wednesday at 5.30pm for Intermediate Vinyasa Flow and she will be popping up here and there for covers in studio too.

We’ve noticed a big shift in the Shala and Reformer Room lately; and it’s Progress. Students really progressing their strength, form and range of motion. Some clients recently have stopped us in our tracks and made us reflect on just how far they have come.

As teachers it’s one of the big reasons we show up, we are on the journey with you and nothing lights us up more than seeing you fall in love with your body again and access something new within.

It’s the way you smile when finally crack a challenge, the way you soften when your nervous system finally feels safe, the way you breathe when the physical and emotional tension are released. It’s the laughter when you give something new a go that you wouldn’t have attempted three months ago. It’s the new neural pathways that come online when you get a cue tailored just to you. It’s the connection that comes with a hands on adjustment.

What creates progress? Regularity, commitment and great Teachers. Teachers who know you, your body and where to support or extend you. We are incredibly fortunate to have not only a dedicated team who really tune into our clients but teachers who are experienced and committed to continued learning. They are masterful space holders, confidants and movement experts. They are there with you offering the little changes that add up to big results over time.

With a consistent practice comes real change, whatever that practice may be for you. We have noticed an enormous rise in popularity of our Karma Membership over the last few months, one class per week, a rolling commitment to yourself for just $20 per class. Yes, that’s Yoga or Reformer for just $20 class. And even better if you want an extra fix the overbooking rate is still just $20.

KARMA / Is a concept rooted in ancient Indian religion, meaning “action” or “deed”. It represents the universal principle of cause and effect: a person’s intentional actions, thoughts, and words dictate their future consequences.

To our Members who continue to choose themselves and reap the benefits more broadly in their life, thank you for continually showing up 🤎 We love having you & are grateful to each and every one of you.

Why you won’t find phones in the Studio…

This space is sacred, it provides our students and teachers with a container to pause and be. Here you are unreachable, your attention is directed inwards, your focus is your own and your energy harnessed for purposes of your choosing.

It is important to us that you feel safe to be fully yourself without feeling watched, recorded or snapped. That you feel you can close your eyes without someone else’s eyes being on you. That you could try and fail, or fall, or fart, without it being the subject of someone else’s content.

In a world where it’s widely done and largely without consent, it feels radical to simply say no, we don’t do that here. We have no desire to create fomo by recording a full room, no grand marketing plan to include your presence while you are unaware and unpaid, and no longing to be on trend just because everyone else is doing it.

To be absorbed in the AUM of a whole group you need to be here. To feel the decompression as the room exhales you need to choose yourself first. To belly laugh with the early risers you need to set your alarm.

We love this community and the conversations that take place before and after practice. We get excited when we see you master a new skill or shape. We have eyes, ears, hearts (and sometimes hands) on you when you are here with us because that’s right where they should be.

Thank you for understanding and supporting our collective nervous system so we can drop into the sweet space together🤎

Join us on our Wintering Retreat❄️
Thursday 18th June - Sunday 21st June

June marks ten years of REVA, and we could not think of a better way to celebrate than with you.

We are heading to Kula in Muriwai for three nights. Oceanfront. Surrounded by rolling green hills and stunning architecture. Five star accommodation, a dedicated Yoga Shala, saunas, ice baths and beautiful catering designed to bring you back to yourself.

Three of our most experienced facilitators will be holding the space: Natasha Mason, Nadine Rogers and Zara Brouwers.

This retreat is an invitation to honour the inner Winter. To slow down, turn inward and be held by the season rather than resist it. At a time when rest feels like a luxury, we are making it the priority.

Each day begins with an 8am Flow practice with Live DJ and closes with a gentle Yin. In between, you will enjoy Breathwork, Somatic Dance, Cacao Ceremony, Tarot, guided Journalling, three healthy meals and delicious snacks. Time is also set aside for massage therapy, reiki, sauna, ice baths, connected conversation and genuine rest.

Places are limited to 15. Accommodation is tiered. Browse all the available rooms on our website and reserve your space with just a $199 deposit.

If your heart is feeling the pull and your spirit craving revitalisation, then simply follow the link in our bio.

Alternatively you can book with ease in our REVA Yoga App under the Retreat tab.

Once your deposit is paid we will be in touch via email to confirm your choice of room, any dietary requirements you may have and send you a welcome pack of what to bring with you. Final payments due two weeks prior to retreat. Many of us are road tripping together so we can also put you in touch with those interested in car pooling to Muriwai.

SOUND HEALING this Saturday 2nd May🪉

Join for her last event with us before she moves to Hamilton. It will be a very special evening for sure.

Sound bath is a deeply restorative experience designed to realign your energy and bring a sense of harmony to your mind and body.

This 75 minute session begins with a guided meditation, helping you release blockages and cultivate inner balance. As you settle into deep relaxation, you’ll be immersed in the healing vibrations of crystal singing bowls, chakra chimes, Koshi chimes, drums, and rain sticks, each carefully chosen to resonate with different energy centers in the body. The blend of sound and intention creates a powerful space for relaxation, renewal, and deep inner connection.

No prior experience is needed—just bring an open heart and a willingness to receive.
