Scanning is finished for 2026
These ewes have been drafted into twins and singles and will be set stocked (placed into a paddock with food according to their lambs needs) after shearing.
Merinos are better mothers without their wool - making sure that they take their lambs to shelter if it gets cold.
Lambs will begin to drop mid October here in the High Country.

Country Boy little Ringo Starr, a male Foxy Cross (white with a tan face), has been captivated by the bright lights of the city, and has decided to go exploring. BLACK & WHITE DSH FEMALE CAT (PINK COLLAR)

Unfortunately we have had a young female domestic short-haired (DSH) cat dropped off at the Veterinary Centre Oamaru. She was found on Ribble Street (by Mega Mitre10 / Big Save Furniture) and does not have a microchip to help us identify the owner, although it does have a pink collar.

𝗗𝗢 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗔 𝗣𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗬?
At the Veterinary Centre by the Big Blue Cross we have Puppy Pre-School classes that run for four weeks every month. Puppy Pre-School is a great way to socialise your puppy with other pups, and it gives you the confidence around training and raising your pup to be a real pleasure.
Our classes are small groups with limits of up to 8 puppies at a time, ensuring puppies and owners get one-on-one attention. We still have places in our August classes, so give us a call today to enrol.

𝗗𝗢𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝗚𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗔𝗩𝗬
There has been a male dog found roaming in the Glenavy township, and has been handed in to the Glenavy Clinic. Unfortunately we don't have a microchip reader in Glenavy, and so won't be able to identify the number until later this afternoon. He has no identifying collar to help us locate his owners either.
