Currently having a full blown crisis though… I decided to be “mindful” and pack a small suitcase for this trip. Very sensible. Very responsible. Except I’ve just discovered THREE vintage retro shops right next to our hotel and now I physically cannot buy anything.
Whoever said travel light clearly never stumbled onto a goldmine of vintage finds two minutes from where they’re staying. The struggle is real.

NYC, you beautiful chaos, we did you proper.
Three nights, zero chill. Times Square lights blinding us into submission, cable car gliding over to Roosevelt Island like we were in our own rom-com, and honestly… we checked off basically everything on the list.
But SoHo? SoHo stole my whole heart. Walk in and it’s giving grungy street art, cobblestones, that “is this even Manhattan” vibe… then BAM, Louis Vuitton flexing next door like nothing happened. Bohemian energy meets high fashion and somehow it just works. Top of my list, no contest.
10/10 would get lost in SoHo again.

Just wrapped up a fabulous trip with the most fun group, supporting them through bariatric surgery in Mexico 🇲🇽 What a crew!
Just enough time to repack as now it’s onto New York for a bit of well-earned rest and recreation 🗽 before Steve and I jet off to Scotland for a week. Then it’s finally our turn for a holiday - off through Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France with Steve.
Our first proper holiday together in a couple of years… watch this space! ✈️

We're just back this week from an incredible trip, and one of our clients gave us the most fascinating case we've come across yet. During her bypass surgery, our surgeon discovered that her intestines and colon were positioned on the completely reverse side of her body to normal — this is exactly why having a highly qualified, experienced bariatric surgeon matters so much. He worked through it, and five hours later she was back on the ward with quite the story to tell.

On top of that, our client also has in her family "malignant hyperthermia" — a rare genetic condition affecting roughly one in ten million people, which meant she needed a specially tailored approach to her anaesthetic. It's a great reminder that we take nothing for granted, and why having both a highly qualified surgeon and a highly qualified anaesthetist truly makes all the difference.

So proud of everyone on this trip!

Today’s the day! Our bariatric group has officially been discharged from the hospital 🎉

There were definitely some mixed feelings leaving — it really was such a beautiful, high-tech hospital, and everyone loved the nurses who took such great care of us.

We’re taking a quick stop at Las Americas outlet mall before heading back to check in at the hotel and chill out for the rest of the day.

Such a great crew to be doing this with — Brian, Pam, Hope, and me. Honestly, we’re basically Charlie’s Angels Mexico at this point 😄👼

No tequila today as we wave off  our happy band of bariatric surgery group, as they head down to the operating theatre. Everyone last night had a good night sleep in our fabulous hotel here in Tijuana.
