Need a little extra support for a loved one during the day? Our dedicated Diversional Therapist and Activities Coordinators, provide safe, supportive and nurturing care in a warm, homely setting where individuals enjoy companionship and engaging activities.

Weekdays, 9:00am - 3:00pm (excluding public holidays).
Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea provided.

Pick-up available within the Ōtorohanga township.

Today we celebrated International Friendship Day by recognising the wonderful friendships that brighten life at Beattie Home & Hospital ❤️

Friendship has no age limit, and some of the most special connections are made across generations. We were so lucky to welcome our little friends from Hopscotch Childcare & Preschool Otorohanga who spent time visiting our residents, sharing smiles and plenty of laughter.

The friendships we build with our community mean the world to us, and today was a beautiful reminder that the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference.

At Beattie Home & Hospital, we are proud to provide a delicious hot meal delivery service to the О̄torohanga senior citizens community.

Our Meals on Wheels offers a satisfying lunch main meal and optional add-on dessert, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Meals can be delivered within a 4km radius of the О̄torohanga township via our wonderful volunteers.

Whether you're looking for a convenient meal or supporting a loved one, Meals on Wheels can be a great short-or long-term solution.

Main meal cost: $11.00 per meal
Add-on dessert option cost: $3.00 per dessert

Thank you to Norman & Heather from 3 Feathers Honey for their generous donation of two huge buckets of beautiful local honey for our residents🍯

Being mid-winter with lots of ills and chills around, this gift is being greatly appreciated. The residents are enjoying it stirred into warm lemon drinks with some enjoying it simply by the spoonful! 🥄

Our Residents have enjoyed a special week leading up to Matariki, with Kapa Haka, shared kai and time to reflect and remember as we honour this special time of renewal and connection.

A huge thank you to Sharon Reynolds for her incredible generosity in knitting beautiful scarves, cosy lap blankets and warm booties for our residents this winter ❄️

We say it often, but we truly are so fortunate to have such kind and caring people in our community. Gestures like these bring not only warmth but also comfort and joy to our residents and they are genuinely appreciated.
