Elephant Nature Park sent Longridge the loveliest thank you. 🐘

The sanctuary spelled out Longridge in fruit for the elephants to enjoy, thanking our residents for the blanket they knitted. Well done, ladies, this is what your effort meant to them.

Well done, ladies, you did an amazing job. Sri Nuan received her blanket from our Monday morning craft group, hand knitted square by square and delivered all the way to Elephant Nature Park in Thailand.

To everyone who picked up a needle, donated wool, or backed this project in any way, thank you. How rewarding is it to actually see her wearing it.

Sri Nuan the elephant has her blanket!

Back in February, our Monday morning craft group started knitting a wool blanket for Sri Nuan, a senior rescue elephant at Elephant Nature Park in Thailand.

Months of knitting, one square at a time, and she's finally got it.
