Of Pahiatua, passed away peacefully on Monday 31 August, 2026 at Waireka Rest home, Pahiatua, aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of Jane of 66 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Penny and David, Sean and Sarah, and Jasper. Treasured Grandfather of Maegan and Finn; and Rufus and Phaedra. Messages to Mrs J. Elliott c/- 21 Dawson Street, Pahiatua. A memorial service to celebrate Allan’s life will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Albert Street, Pahiatua, on Wednesday 9th September, 2026 at 1.30pm.

ELLIOTT, Elizabeth Ann “Ann”
Of Pahiatua, on Thursday 27th August, 2026, peacefully at Palmerston North Hospital, aged 85 years. Dearly loved wife of Ross for 54 years. Loving Mother and Mother-in-law of Jo and Mark Hughson; and Duncan and Natalie. Treasured Nana of Cate, and Tom Hughson; and Jack, Lachie, Fletcher, and Sophia. Dearly loved sister and sister in law of Andrew (deceased) and Sally Doig; and Jill and Brooke Barwick. Special thanks to the staff of Summerset Aokautere for their care of Ann. We are sure you have noticed our yard on Main Street has SOLD!

Many of you will know the Main Street site was a long held dream of ours, and we fought as hard as we could to keep this dream alive - but after 7 years we came to realise this just wasn't meant to be where Monarch landed for the future.

Despite our best efforts to do the very best by our community and family, at times we have had obstacles that have challenged us and our belief set, our core values and how we viewed the future.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the ongoing support we have received from so many for this project - we are sincerely grateful and continue on with Monarch and our promise to provide our community with our genuine compassion and care.

Passed away on 1 July, 2026 as the result of an accident on 30 June, 2026, aged 23 years. Treasured youngest daughter of Rose and the late Hew Montgomerie. Precious sister of Jobelyn I. Rodriguez, Jobell I. Rodriguez, Rose Marie I. Rodriguez, John Benjie I. Rodriguez, Jerome Benedict I. Rodriguez and step sister to Ian Montogmerie. Cherished granddaughter of Emeteria and the late Felipe Inoc. Second daughter to Howard and Amy Pedersen. A service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held at Pahiatua Christian Fellowship, 187 Main Street, Pahiatua, on Friday 10 July, 2026 at 12.15 pm. Private cremation thereafter.

Of Pahiatua, peacefully passed away at Arohanui Hospice Palmerston North on Saturday 20th June, 2026, in her 90th year. Dearly loved wife of the late James (Jim). Loved Mum of Todd (deceased), Earl and Heidi (deceased), and Tania and Craig. Cherished Grandma and great-Grandma of James, Matthew, Kaitlyn and Marlee, Jordan and Peyton, Caleb and Sophie, Taylor, Sam, and Anna. Kay will be home at 47 Sedcole St, Pahiatua on Wednesday 24th June from 10:30 for those who wish to say goodbye to her before a service to celebrate her life which will be held there at home at 1pm. Private cremation thereafter.
