If I’m honest, I almost always have a wobble before a longer class.
The stories start:
“What if no one books?”
“What if people don’t enjoy it?”
“What if it’s not good enough?”
Today was the first 3-Hour Yin Journey of the year, and once again those thoughts turned out to be just thoughts.
Because what happened instead was a room full of people willing to slow down, soften, rest, and spend a winter afternoon taking care of themselves.
To the new faces, the returning faces, and the familiar regular faces, thank you.
Thank you for trusting me to guide you, for showing up for yourselves, and for helping create such a beautiful energy in the room.
Teaching these longer journeys is one of my favourite things to do, even if my nervous system occasionally forgets that beforehand.
Today was a beautiful reminder that we don’t have to feel completely confident before we do something meaningful.
And for three hours this afternoon, we slowed down, settled in, and shared something pretty special together. 🤍
