The Chapple family has been a valued part of the ACROSS whānau, including through their connection to our Board. It is heartening to see their generosity continuing to support community initiatives through the donation of this van.

Community supporting community is what makes a real difference. Thank you to the Chapple family and all those working tirelessly to help others. 💙

Ok they say put something out into the universe and see what comes back… so here goes 🤞🦋

BCC - is absolutely chockablock… we need all to pick up their requests please urgently , as we have another 20 odd sitting in our “email in-box” to start on Monday.

Just to confirm our 60+ service organisations pick up their requests and deliver … these are requests direct to us from public .

Brett - driver of the van donated by the Chapple family has offered this Wednesday to drive around between Palmy , Feilding and wider to deliver your box ups if needed… BUT …this comes at a cost to us :-

SO:- .. Do we ask each box up request to pay $5 for box up to be dropped off Wednesday?

Or:-…Do we hope we get generously gifted a Petrol Card ?

As we know as soon as we start deliveries on a Wednesday this will become more regular :- yes Brett will always travel with a mate - yes box ups will be put just inside your fence and you will receive a text to say they are there…but this is a big undertaking for BCC - especially Brett and a colleague who are offering this .

Community - supporting community, not for profit now over 100,000+ items in 6months have been returned to community in support .. do we now do this step..-as we have no room left 🤷‍♀️👍

❄️ Help Local Families This Winter ❄️

This winter, some families in our community are finding it hard to make ends meet. With the cost of living rising, many are struggling to afford warm clothing, food, and other everyday essentials.

That's where you can help.

Every donation, big or small, can make a real difference. Your support helps provide warmth, comfort, and practical assistance to people who need it most.

Together, we can help ensure no one in our community goes without this winter.

👉 Please donate today and help us support local families doing it tough https://www.across.org.nz/donate-today

Losing someone to su***de is a painful and life-changing experience. Many people who are grieving this loss also face silence, stigma, or feel that others don't understand what they're going through.

By talking openly and showing kindness, we can help break down the stigma surrounding su***de loss. No one should have to grieve alone.

🌌Team lunch to celebrate Matariki

Thank you Lara for making some boil up, Shane and Tarsh for the Irish stew, Madi and Tasha for bringing in some NZ treats!

Matariki is a special time to reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to the future. We’re grateful that we could have the opportunity to pause, connect as a team and enjoy the richness of cultures and tradition that make our workplace so special!

Our office will be closed Friday 10th.

Wishing everyone a safe long weekend 💙
