This is another reason why we need to get this vagal nerve stimulator operation for dexter. I was in bathroom, no one else was around until dom came in and he yelled for me, dexter was in mid seizure on the floor between lounge a kitchen.... plus not he wake up call his grangee was expecting either.

F**k these seizures

Unsure on what time exactly. But a early morning wake up wasn't on the cards. Poor dexter woke, walked in hallway I could hear in his voice he wasn't right, before he started to seize one i caught him and the other thing was he said before he started falling was asking for Marshall *his words...... get Marshall *

seizures suck!!!!!!

Meds make him sleep... so morning sleep.... he wakes to say he needs the loo, ok sweet. Take him and stay with him, he gagged and then sadly a seizure on the loo. I really hate posting this stuff but I need to have it showen what it's like for him and for us as a family....

Just can't get over how strong my now 8 year old is. He is brave, loving and a real caring boy. We still have a long way to go in this focal epilepsy journey but we will get there.

Yesterday we had a appointment with dexters pediatric neurologist at palmy hospital..... we are now getting our referral for the Vagus Nerve Stimulation system.....

10.59pm-11.03pm Thursday 11th June.

Woke up suddenly was trying to talk to me became fidgety and eyes glazed over..... this was before the seizure started. He wouldn't stop moving his whole body. He began to seize his entire body tensed up but also vomited and gagged with breathing difficulties....

This is so heartbreaking

This is the aftermath.... the looking and feeling so helpless.... Dexter woke up just before 7.30am.... Sat on edge of his bed.....looked super calm and said I feel funny I had him repeat it and then we new a seizure was about to start....
