Let yourself be satisfied by life.

If you want to stop moving the success, happiness, or “enough” goalpost, and actually let yourself enjoy your life as it is, it’s worth getting curious about the beliefs you hold about your worth.

For a lot of us, satisfaction doesn’t feel safe.

If I slow down, I’ll become lazy.

If I’m content, I’ll lose my drive.

If I’m proud of myself, I’ll stop growing.

So instead, we keep chasing. We tick off the goal, celebrate for about five minutes, then immediately focus on the next thing. There is always another milestone. Another achievement. Another version of ourselves that seems more deserving of rest, happiness, or confidence than the one we are right now.

I love your ambition. I don’t love when you tie your worthiness to it.

It’s possible to build a beautiful life while also allowing yourself to enjoy the one you’re already living.

That shift doesn’t happen by trying harder. It happens by understanding the deeper beliefs that keep moving the goalposts in the first place.

This is the kind of work I do with my 1:1 coaching clients. Together we uncover the unconscious patterns, beliefs, and protective strategies that have been running the show for years, so you’re no longer stuck chasing a version of “enough” that never comes.

If you’re tired of feeling like your worth is always just out of reach, send me a message. I’d love to help.

A very realistic insight into running your own business.

Honestly don’t know if I’m laughing or crying.

But like um if you want you should totally send me words of affirmation.

And come to my journaling and creativity workshop this weekend.

I think everyone needs something in their life that isn’t about being productive or getting ahead. Creativity gives you that. It gets you out of your head and into the moment. You’re making choices, trying things, playing around, and using a different part of your brain than you do all day at work. It reminds you that you’re allowed to enjoy something without being good at it or making money from it. And honestly, I think that’s something a lot of adults have forgotten. We spend so much time consuming other people’s ideas and achievements that we stop making anything ourselves. Creativity is just a way of coming back to yourself.

If you’ve been wanting to spend less time consuming and more time creating, come along to Scrapbook Club happening this Sunday, 26th July, in Tauranga.

It’s a few hours to slow down, get off your phone, make something with your hands, and remember what it feels like to do something just because you enjoy it.

If you’ve been craving a slower pace, more play, or simply a morning that’s for you, I’d love to have you there. Link in bio to get your ticket 🎫

Do you have any old magazines or craft supplies collecting dust?

I’m currently gathering materials for Scrapbook Club and would love to give any unused creative bits and pieces a new life.

I’m looking for things like:

✂️ Old magazines, catalogues, maps or picture books
✂️ Stickers, washi tape, or stamps
✂️ Coloured paper, card, tissue paper or wrapping paper
✂️ Pens, pencils, markers or crayons
✂️ Glue sticks, scissors or other art supplies
✂️ Any random crafty bits you think could be used for scrapbooking

They don’t need to be new, just clean and usable.

I’m based in Mount Maunganui, so send me a message if you have anything you’d be happy to donate and we can organise a drop-off or collection.

And if this post has reminded you that you need to get your ticket, what are you waiting for?

Scrapbook Club is happening on Sunday 26 July in Pāpāmoa. It’s a morning of journaling, creativity, conversation, snacks and getting out of your head for a few hours.

Tickets available through the link in my bio.
