Congratulations to our local constable Adrian Oldham on his 47 years of serving for the NZ Police! 👏👏
47 years.
Just pause on that for a moment.
Forty-seven years of showing up.
Forty-seven years of service.
Forty-seven years of seeing people on their best days… and often their worst.
This week we want to acknowledge Senior Constable Adrian Oldham on an incredible milestone — 47 years serving in the New Zealand Police. 👏
In a world that changes quickly, there is something deeply reassuring about people who quietly continue to stand for community, safety, and service year after year.
Behind every uniform is a human being who has missed family dinners, worked long nights, attended difficult callouts, and still continued to front up for the public with professionalism and care.
Papamoa Community Patrol are privileged to work alongside amazing Police staff, and milestones like this deserve to be celebrated properly.
Senior Constable Adrian Oldham — thank you for your dedication, your calm presence, your humour, and your commitment to our communities over nearly five decades. That is an extraordinary achievement and one very few people can say they have accomplished.
“Ngā mihi nui ki a koe mō tō mahi nui me tō manaaki i te hapori.”
(Thank you sincerely for your great service and care for the community.)
“Kia kaha, kia māia, kia manawanui.”
(Be strong, be brave, be steadfast.)
