Welcome to the fingers in all the pies that is Walnut Wednesday - I'm going to tell you a little about me now...
✨️I was a lil peanut who felt in her butt, she had so much to say but the deep swirling thoughts in the void that is my mind, never quite made it out of my mouth in an articulate way - so I started a podcast to help connect the dots.
✨️ WW the podcast was all about my journey to finding my voice, confidence, body confidence and more recently, my initiation into motherhood.
✨️I LOVE interviewing Walnuts and I have an open door policy to come and chat - just show me deez nuts and ask! I have popped many a podcast cherry and I hope it's been as nice an experience for those guests as it's been for me.
✨️I never used to have a problem airing my dirty laundry and experiences online because I think it's important to showcase the non-hightlight reel on social media. But of late, it's been very important for me to go inward and wash me knickers in private. Admittedly, I've had a really hard time conceptualizing that - and I'm not talking about dirty un**es.
✨️I've been a Virtual Assistant for around six years and have found a little nest in author support but also heart-melt-swoon working one off ASS(astant) jobs for artists.
✨️Motherhood is it's own damn thing and many of my later eps talk through the condition and the newborn trenches. My environment has dramatically changed since then and life is pretty whimsy and peaceful (even with a toddler).
✨️This one time I self published a book because I wanted to and another time I created a reading review journal because I kept seeing only pink ones.
✨️I am cool as a cucumber by default but have been conditioned to function as Type A so I unofficially fall into Type C and fluctuashe between the zones like a lil Hot Mess Express.
✨️I love, but am not limited to, horror films, screamy music, dark romance and picky bits girl dinner with wine!
