Acknowledging the wonderful Lisa Vitaliano 🧔

19 years. That’s 19 years of being part of Ora Toa, and 19 years of caring for, supporting and connecting with our whānau and community.

Lisa first joined Ora Toa in September 2007 as a Tamariki Ora Nurse. In 2022, she began a new chapter with our Outreach Immunisation team as an Outreach Immunisation Nurse.

Throughout those years, Lisa has been many things to many people — a team leader, an incredible nurse, a trusted advice giver, an amazing friend and a familiar, friendly face for our whānau.

Her dedication goes beyond the mahi. It’s in the relationships she’s built, the people she’s supported, the knowledge she’s shared, and the warmth she brings wherever she goes.

19 years is a special milestone. It’s a lot of mahi, a lot of memories, and a lot of whānau who have been lucky enough to cross paths with Lisa.

Ngā mihi nui, Lisa, for 19 wonderful years as part of the Ora Toa whānau. We’re so grateful for all that you’ve given to our people and our community!

The heart of the whānau ā¤ļø

Wisdom is knowing how to look after what matters most – your health, and your whānau.

Our kaumātua hold our stories, our strength and our connections. They stay active and fully engaged with their kids, and their cherished mokopuna.

This also means giving their bodies the best defence this winter.

šŸ’‰Flu rates are on the rise across Aotearoa, so it’s a good time to get the flu vax. The 2026 flu vaccine is tailored to match the strains circulating in the community right now.
