PSYLO is a not-for-profit organisation that relies on fundraising and donations. If you'd like to donate, you can do that on Givealittle here:

We need to fundraise to keep our choir running. The benefits are clear - help us to continue singing!

We’ve been robbed - someone jimmied open the locked cupboard and stole our piano keyboard. Just devastated.

We are a not-for-profit choir based in Tawa/Porirua. We support clients with asthma, COPD and other chronic health issues - to exercise their lungs through singing. This is a shout out to the Tawa/Porirua community on behalf of a great team of people.

Looking for anyone that may have a good quality keyboard (minimum 77 keys) in their basement looking for its next life - or donations to our Givealittle (PSYLO - Porirua Sing Your Lungs Out).

We run on the smell of an oily rag - and really need some help to get back up and running for Term 3.

Thank you to those offering donations- here's our Givealittle details https://givealittle.co.nz/org/psylo-porirua-sing-your-lungs-out

Thank you Janice, for all your hard work. Well deserved recognition.

We are so proud to celebrate Janice Kuka, co-chair of the Board for the Asthma and Respiratory Foundation and Kia Manawanui Trust – The Heart of Aotearoa, who has been made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for her services to Māori health.

For decades, Janice (Ngāti Ranginui, Ngāi Te Rangi) has advocated for Māori-led healthcare in the spaces where healthcare, community and culture meet. Her involvement in the Kōhanga Reo movement and her work as a social worker at Tauranga Hospital contributed to the establishment of Kaupapa Māori services there in 1989, leading to the creation of Māori nursing wards and mental health services.

Janice has been a member of our Board for over 20 years. We're honoured to have Janice's leadership and wisdom guiding our mahi.

Tēnā rawa atu koe, Janice 🩵❤️
