“All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
Every time I step into the studio, this quote plays in my mind.
So often, we spend the time given to us rushing. We run through the door, slam it behind us, and unroll our mats in a hurry, completely fueled by the speed and stress of the day. We arrive physically, but our minds are already living in tomorrow.
What I wrote yesterday before the class :
But tonight, I chose to decide differently. I chose the here and now.
Yin Yoga isn’t about magically erasing the chaos of a busy mind. It’s about choosing to sit with it. It’s about witnessing, minute after minute, what happens when calm and stillness finally take over.
But the real decision comes when the practice ends.
If we pack up in a rush, immediately scroll on our phones, and run out the door in the exact same high-speed state we arrived in... we are giving that precious time right back to the chaos.
Tonight, my invitation to you is to protect your bubble. 🫧
When class ends, transition softly. Pack up slowly. Speak in whispers. Carry that heavy, beautiful zen energy out the door and into your night.
This moment, right here, is the time you were given. How are you going to choose to spend it? 🤍
