Our raffle for a hamper of goodies raised $250 for Stroke Aotearoa, with Brian taking home the prize!

We also had the pleasure of welcoming a Community Stroke Navigator who shared important insights on prevention and recognising the signs of stroke — a powerful reminder of how we can all look out for ourselves and those around us.

We loved opening our doors at Vivid Living Karaka to host the Drury Kiwanis Club recently 🤍

With around 25 guests in attendance — including a special speaker from the Port Vila, Vanuatu chapter — it was a meaningful afternoon of connection, conversation and purpose. Our residents were also able to join, making it even more special.

We were inspired to hear about the Threads Across the Pacific project, supporting women in Vanuatu with sewing machines and fabric — with over 140 machines already distributed and more on the way.

We welcomed the Westpac team into the village to share an engaging and easy‑to‑follow session on how to spot scams and fraud.

Our residents learned how to recognise the warning signs, what practical steps they can take to protect themselves, and where to turn for support if something doesn’t feel right — all through real‑life examples and interactive discussion. A valuable and empowering session for everyone involved!
