Flu vaccination is now FREE for all children aged 6 months to under 5 years.

From 1 September 2026, all tamariki aged 6 months until they turn 5 are eligible for a funded flu vaccination.

Young children can become particularly unwell with influenza, and this change will help give our youngest patients extra protection.

Because the flu season started later than usual this year, influenza is still circulating in our community — so it’s not too late to get protected.

Contact our team to book your child’s free flu vaccination.

Please feel free to share this with whānau who may not know about the new eligibility.

✨ What a fantastic way to spend a Friday evening! ✨

Our Social Club gathered for a private Paintvine event to celebrate the lead-up to Matariki. After sharing some kai and catching up, we settled in by the fire, picked up our paintbrushes, and got creative with a Matariki-inspired painting. 🎨

There were plenty of laughs, lots of encouragement, and a few hidden artistic talents revealed along the way!

It was great to spend time together outside of work, connect with colleagues in a different setting, and take a moment to reflect on the meaning of Matariki while creating something special to take home.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such an enjoyable evening. 🌟

Some of the team attended the GPCME Conference on held at the Energy Events Centre over the weekend and were lucky enough to bump into some familiar faces.

Lara (far left) was our first ever GP Registrar 9 years ago, and Phoebe (far right) joined us the following year. They are pictured with Caerlie (Nurse Practitioner, mid left), Jemma (Nurse Prescriber, middle) and Jo (GP, mid right).

As many of you know, we are a teaching practice, and GP Registrars can do their placement with us during their training.

So proud to see where you've both ended up!

"Dallas shares why vaccination is important for his whānau.

“Our babies are at risk because their immune systems are still developing, and our kaumātua are more vulnerable as they get older.”

For Dallas, it was about keeping the most vulnerable members of their whānau, pēpi and nan, safe and well.

By making sure everyone was vaccinated, our parents could care for those most at risk and nurture a healthy, protected whānau.

"In this beautiful kōrero, Rāwiri Bhana talks about Mokopuna Decisions - the choices we make today for the wellbeing of our tamariki and the generations to come. Our kaumātua once made decisions to protect us; now it’s our turn to protect and care for them. Supporting the whole whānau is what it’s all about.

Our mokopuna, our tamariki, our pakeke, our kaumātua, vaccination is for everybody, no matter your age.

That's what Mokopuna Decisions are.
