Whether it's serving customers, sorting donations or keeping the shops looking great, they help wherever they are needed most. Thank you!

We are truly amazed🥳❤️ With your help, our Yondi Foundation Hands Up for Hospice appeal has raised $183,000!

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to the individuals, organisations & businesses who supported us during May. We also had a huge number of volunteers helping at various events throughout the month – we are so lucky to have your help.

The funds raised through this appeal will go right back into the community and will help our team of more than 55 clinicians support around 210 patients across the region every month with life-limiting conditions to live well until they die.

She shared "I enjoy being helpful and giving back. I took over this role from my Mum who did it for years."

Did you know...each month, our equipment volunteers deliver 86 pieces of equipment to patients homes. This allows our patients the mobility to stay at home.

It's National Volunteer Week!

This is a time to celebrate the incredible people who give their time, compassion, and heart to Nelson Tasman Hospice.

Thank you to all of our over 443 volunteers and all the time and effort they put into helping us extend our impact into the community, to the over 210 local families monthly who need our specialist palliative care. 🩵

A huge thank you to Office Products Depot Richmond for delivering 150 reams of copier paper to Nelson Tasman Hospice today as their contribution to the Yondi Foundation Hands Up for Hospice Raise Promotion.

It might not be the first thing people think of when they think about supporting Hospice, but this incredible donation will make a real difference behind the scenes. From patient information and care plans to fundraising materials and administration, paper is something we use every single day – and donations like this help us direct more of our funding where it matters most: supporting patients and whānau across our region.

This donation is also thanks to Richmond OPD's wonderful customers. Through their Raise Promotion, for every invoice order of $250 or more, Richmond OPD donated a ream of paper to Hospice on behalf of their customer. Together, they have helped provide 150 reams of paper that will support our work for months to come.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in this generous contribution and for putting your Hands Up for Hospice. We are incredibly grateful for your support.

Thank you to Matt and the Nelson Team at Orbit World Travel - New Zealand.
Matt popped in over the weekend to drop off lots of packets of biscuits as a donation for our patients - both those in the SPCU and in the Community, where 80% of our care takes place. He is pictured here with some of our wonderful team 🥰

A cup of tea and a biscuit might seem like a very small thing, but when someone is living with a terminal illness - or caring for someone who is - it can mean much more than food and drink - it's comfort, connection, dignity, and a moment of normal life during one of life's most difficult times.
