Current moon phase has our babies in their feels and wanting to square up, actually rephrase that, they're asserting themselves and won't back down to authority...
So try some gentle parenting cos you won't win and then the parental guilt will set in too lol. Good news is the retrograde ends Friday and so does this moon phase so they'll be back to normal and so will we, yay lol

Hope you've had a great weekend...

As I've wrapped up another year of annual reports for my small business clients this weekend, I've found myself reflecting on something.

There is something incredibly special about small businesses, especially those built by families.

Starting a business takes a different kind of courage. It takes grit, determination, resilience, long hours, difficult decisions, and the willingness to keep showing up, even when there are no guarantees.

There are no paid sick days, no certainty that next month's income will be enough, and no one else carrying the risk. It's people backing themselves, trusting their skills, and working tirelessly to build something they can truly call their own.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working alongside many small businesses, most of them family-run. Every set of financial statements tells a story. Behind every number are sacrifices, lessons, setbacks, wins, and people who simply refused to give up on their dream.

One thing I've learned is that qualifications, experience, and resilience all have their place.

A qualification gives you the technical knowledge to understand the numbers and the systems that support a successful business. Experience teaches judgement, perspective, and critical thinking. Running a business teaches resilience, adaptability, and the courage to keep moving forward when things don't go to plan.

The most successful business owners I've worked with don't pretend to know everything. They surround themselves with good people, ask questions, and trust professionals to guide them in the areas outside their expertise. That's not weakness. That's good business.

This weekend has also reminded me of something else.

I've spent years helping other people build their dreams, and it's made me realise it's time to intentionally invest more into my own. My hope is to build something sustainable for my own whānau while continuing to support other small businesses to grow with confidence.

The annual reports are finished, the house is clean, everything has been reset, and it feels like the perfect way to begin a new financial year.

So, my books are open for the year ahead. If you're a small business owner looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people understand their numbers and make informed decisions, I'd love to walk alongside you on your journey.

❄️ Winter Solstice ❄️

The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year. It reminds us that nature doesn't force growth in every season. There are times to push forward, and there are times to rest, reflect, and let go.

For me, this Solstice has arrived with some important lessons.

I've spent a lot of time over the years carrying responsibility, showing up for others, pushing through when things were difficult, and putting my own needs at the bottom of the list. While there is value in commitment, service, and loyalty, I've been learning that those things can become unhealthy when they come at the expense of ourselves.

One of the biggest things I am choosing to release this Winter Solstice is guilt.

Guilt for resting.

Guilt for saying no.

Guilt for not being available to everyone all the time.

Guilt for choosing myself and my family.

The other is misplaced loyalty.

Loyalty is a beautiful quality, but not when it keeps us carrying burdens that were never ours to carry, or staying in situations that leave us depleted. True loyalty should never require us to abandon ourselves.

The past few weeks have reminded me that my health matters. My wellbeing matters. My children matter.

And sometimes the bravest thing we can do is stop pushing through and honour what our body, mind, and spirit are asking for.

To those waiting on annual reports, readings, messages, or catch-ups, thank you for your patience. I'm a little behind, and that's okay. Right now, I need to prioritise rest, healing, and time with the people I love most.

A gentle reminder too: please don't approach my whānau seeking readings, messages, or spiritual insights through them. My family are simply my family, and I value keeping those relationships protected.

And despite what some may think, I don't walk around with a spiritual beacon switched on 24/7. 😊

I'll be taking a break from readings and non-urgent commitments until after 10 July while I focus on restoring my energy and reconnecting with what is truly important.

As we move beyond the longest night and towards the return of the light, I hope you find the courage to release whatever no longer serves you and make space for what does.

New moon, new energy ❤️
Even on the busiest days, I am constantly reminded of what a privilege it is to be the first point of call for so many of you.
Through doing readings, I’ve been blessed to connect with souls all over the world. What started as sessions has grown into a massive, global village of true, lifelong friendships. To look across the map and know I have a circle of genuine people who truly know my heart is the greatest blessing. You guys are my reminder of why I do this.

Hey everybody

Sorry Ive come down with this hideous flu so been unresponsive.

Literally have zero capacity so will catch up on all those who have paid and I've delayed and then will be taking an extended break. There's a lot of energy that goes into readings on top of my usual mahi and my other business so it's not so much of a surprise that I've hit the wall

As usual appreciate you all for your patience because I'm sure you want me rested and at my peak when I give you a reading and at the moment that's just not happening
