Life's a bit of a s**t show right now. Health is kicking my ass, moving is chaotic, and some people just suck. One thing I've learned, though, is that when life gets too much, you need to haul your ass to one of your safe spaces.
Those are the places where I can rest, reset, and just breathe. Every safe space comes with my people to the ones who understand without needing an explanation, the ones who know what I need, and the ones who make me feel safe.
Living with chronic health conditions has taught me to pay attention to the warning signs. I know when I need to retreat, when I need to step away from the noise of the world, and when I need to protect my peace.
So, home for the week. City life, crazy loud trains, a little adventure that led to a beach and some pretty incredible views.
A reminder that even when life feels like it's packed into boxes and falling apart around you, there are still moments of calm. Safe places. Safe people. Random adventures. And sometimes, that's enough to get you through the rough patch.
✨ Here's to finding the places and people that feel like home, wherever life has you this week.
