The Luv Co has been created as one soulful space where love, grief, healing, remembrance, creativity, music, connection and earth-conscious living can all sit together at the same table … probably drinking herbal tea while I’m off having another wildly inspired creative idea at 2am 😄

Honestly, I feel deeply honoured to work in such meaningful spaces … helping people honour life, love and loss through music, ritual, storytelling, conscious dying and heartfelt creations made with intention.

Whether it’s wrapping someone gently for their final journey back to nature 🌱or turning treasured memories into a forever song 🎵 everything I create comes from love first.

☕🌿 A big shout out to Annie and Elea, the wonderful team behind the Death Cafe Papamoa NZ, as they host their very first Death Cafe on Saturday 27th June at 11:00am, at the Mocha and More Cafe upstairs.

We would like to wish you every success and a fantastic turnout for this special gathering. It takes courage to create spaces where people can come together to have open, honest and meaningful conversations about death, dying and living well.

Death Cafés play such an important role in our communities, helping to reduce fear, increase understanding, and remind us that talking about death can help us live more fully.

So if you're in the area, why not pull up a chair, pour a cuppa, share a story, and join the conversation? ☕💚

After our beautiful Dead Easy Workshop in Waikino last Saturday, we were thrilled to discover we've landed on Page 3 of the Waikino Whispers!

Who would have thought that talking about death would get us into the paper? Then again, as they say... everybody's dying to know more. 😉⚰️🌿

A huge thank you to the Waikino Whispers for supporting local events, community conversations and helping spread awareness about home funeral care and end-of-life choices. We are incredibly grateful for your support.

We're also sending a big thank you to the wonderful Waikino community for welcoming us with open hearts, curious minds, wagging tails 🐾 and lemon trees glowing like sunshine. 🍋☀️

✨ WHO IS MOLLY? ✨ Meet Molly.
Born in Te Aro, Wellington, on 9 June 1945, weighing a perfectly petite 5lb 15oz, Molly arrived in style... and frankly, never saw any reason to stop.

Now residing in Te Puna, Tauranga, Molly spends her days enjoying stunning views, plotting her next roadie, and proving that age is merely a number when you're permanently fabulous.
Fashion isn't just a passion for Molly.

Fashion is in her DNA. 💛
Gold lace? Naturally.Beads? Essential.Oversized sunglasses? Non-negotiable.

Over the decades, Molly has embraced every era with style:

🌸 The elegance of the 1940s✌️ The flower power of the 1960s🎵 The bold glamour of the 1980s💿 The sparkle of the 2000s🌈 And now, sashaying confidently into 2026 like it's her personal runway.

Molly has always been a catwalk queen, although these days she spends more time in the passenger seat of a silver Swift than on an actual runway.

Molly's favourite things include:

And Molly has one philosophy she lives by:
She always takes things lying down.

Whether it's a scenic road trip, a shroud demonstration, or simply a well-earned nap, Molly firmly believes that life's biggest moments are best experienced horizontally.

Rumour has it Molly has spent more time reclining than most people spend standing.
She's also convinced that a good outfit can solve almost anything.

These days, Molly is the glamorous face of Dead EasyWorkshops, helping people discover that conversations about death doesn't have to be gloomy. They can be thoughtful, meaningful, beautiful... and occasionally accessorised with gold lace and fabulous beads.

When her own time eventually comes, Molly already knows exactly what she wants:

🌿 A green burial🧡 A natural bespoke linen shroud... top secret of course.✨ An exit as stylish as the life she's lived.

So... who is Molly?

A shroud mannequin.A muse.A fashion icon.A road trip queen.A professional back-seat napper.A lover of coffee, sunsets and rainy days.

💚 Our hearts are full after Saturday's Dead Easy Workshop in Waikino.

Set on a beautiful rural property, the sun was shining, fantails were fluttering about, and the fire was roaring, creating a cosy and welcoming atmosphere for learning, sharing and heartfelt moments together.

On arrival, we were greeted by the two-dog welcoming committee 🐾 and an impressive lemon tree, laden with fruit and glowing like the sun itself, setting the tone for the abundance, warmth and generosity that filled the day.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and stepped into this space with openness, curiosity and courage. Together we shared learning, laughter, reflection and community. It was truly a memorable day.

A special thank you to our wonderful host, Jan, for so generously opening her beautiful home to us and providing such delicious refreshments. Your warmth and hospitality created a nurturing space where everyone felt welcomed and held.

We are also deeply grateful to the beautiful community that gathered. We were especially touched when one of our attendees shared a heartfelt poem they had written. It was a moment that gently reminded us of the power of storytelling, remembrance and shared humanity.

As we moved into the hands-on shrouding, something quietly profound unfolded. We could feel the tenderness in the room... the connection, the care, and the love being offered through simple acts of wrapping, holding and honouring. It felt as though our souls remembered something ancient. We were truly humbled to witness it.

Often it's the unseen around us that creates the magic.

The fantails.

The fire.

The curiosity.

The laughter.

The quiet moments of connection.

Everyone was invited... and everyone showed up. 🧡

This is what it's all about.

Bringing death care back home.

Community.

Family.

LOVE.

Far from doom and gloom, our workshops continue to show us that when we come together to learn, share and support one another, something sacred happens. Death care becomes not just about death, but about connection, healing, and remembering the ways our ancestors once cared for their own.

We trust you all went home feeling empowered, more confident, and inspired to share what you have learned with others. These conversations ripple outward, strengthening families and communities, and reminding us that there are choices when it comes to end-of-life care.

Thank you to everyone who attended and for your permission to share these photographs. We hope they capture some of the warmth, wisdom and soul of the day.

🚗💨 MOLLY OUR SHROUD MANNEQUIN IS ON A ROADIE! 💨🚗The countdown is on!
This Saturday, 13th June, Molly and the Dead Easy Workshops crew are hitting the road and heading to Waikino. 🧡

Excitement levels are high. Molly's coffee consumption is increasing. She has packed her sunglasses, perfected her road trip pose, and is apparently taking her role as workshop ambassador very seriously. 😎

From road trips and good chats, to laughter, learning, and community connection, we're looking forward to spending a beautiful afternoon together talking death, sharing skills, honouring life, and making end-of-life conversations a little easier.

We're delighted to introduce another of our DEAD🧡ucators and Dead Easy Workshop facilitators, Jo Carter.

With years of experience in Reiki and holistic energy healing, Jo brings a calm, compassionate presence to some of life's most sacred moments. She believes every life deserves to be honoured with dignity, respect, and gentle care, offering comfort, connection, and support to both individuals and their loved ones.

As a Deathwalker and co-founder of Go With The Jo's Deathwalker Care, Jo works alongside her sister-in-law, Jo Payne, providing heart-led End-of-Life Care rooted in presence, reverence, and love.

At the heart of Jo's work is a deep commitment to choice. She believes every person deserves the opportunity to understand their options and make informed decisions that honour their values, beliefs, and wishes. Through education, advocacy, and compassionate support, Jo empowers individuals and families to approach end-of-life with greater confidence, connection, and peace, because informed choice is at the heart of meaningful care.

Jo is also the founder of The Luv Co., creating Luv Wraps, bespoke natural burial shrouds and Luv Notes, personalised legacy songs.

Part fairy, part magpie, Jo brings creativity, sparkle, heart, and humour wherever she goes. She has a gift for finding beauty in unexpected places and reminding us that even conversations about death can be filled with warmth, connection, and the occasional giggle.
