Pānui to the Whānau

It is with sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Papa Kepa Stirling🕊️

Our love and thoughts are with his whānau pani during this time of loss. We acknowledge Papa Kepa and the life he has lived, and we farewell him as he makes his journey to join those who have gone before him.

On Wednesday, the whānau of Pāhaoa will travel together to Wairuru to pay our respects, support the whānau pani, and farewell Papa Kepa.

Meet at Pāhaoa Marae: 8:00am
Depart: 8:15am
First ope: 9:00am

We invite our Pāhaoa whānau to come together and travel as one in support of the whānau and to pay our final respects.

Urupa Contributions

A huge mihi to Mary & Peter Rutledge, Pat and Laures Park whanau, T & TA Peina and the Opotiki City Council for their generous donations to our beautiful OHINE MANGO URUPA.

These donations are supporting the continued mahi to beautify our urupa and create an inviting space for whanau to visit their loved ones.

We also appreciate all the kupu tautoko - it keeps the fire burning in the ngakau.

Nga mihi to our filthy few — Paul, Ani and Destiny 🤣 who came to get their hands dirty and get amongst the not so pretty job of cleaning our ablution block. She smells like roses now 😍💐
