It is with immense sadness that we acknowledge the sudden passing of Pat Spellman. A treasured and much-loved member of the Touch community, who dedicated years towards the growth and success of Pacific Cup Touch, Māori Touch NZ and Touch New Zealand

A trusted friend and mentor, and a tireless advocate for the touch community – his mahi will leave an everlasting legacy in Aotearoa and across the Pacific. An irreplaceable figure who will be dearly missed.

🕊️ **ANDERSON, Huia Puhiwahine (née O’Brien)** 🕊️

It is with much sadness and aroha that we announce the passing of Huia Puhiwahine Anderson, who passed away peacefully in Hamilton on Thursday, 1st October 2026, surrounded by her loved ones, aged 87 years.

A deeply loved and adored Wife, Sister, Aunt and Nan, Huia held a very special place in the hearts of her whānau and all those fortunate enough to know her.

A proud Justice of the Peace, Huia was a woman of strength, character and presence — and, as her whānau know so well, Huia remained the BOSS of everything right to the end. ❤️

She is now reunited with her darling husband, Hapi Anderson.

Huia, you will be forever in our hearts, always remembered and never forgotten.

A service to celebrate Huia’s life will be held at 11.00am on Sunday, 4th October 2026 at Te Ahoroa Marae, Te Kūiti, followed by burial at Puketoa Urupā.

Moe mai rā, Huia.
Rest peacefully, surrounded by the love of those who have gone before you. 🕊️

A close one to hit home...
Gayle Melrose takes care of one of her oldest friends.

Aunty Barb we will miss you but know there will be no more suffering for you - a heartfelt message from her family ......

It is with heavy hearts, we said goodbye today to our Mum, our Nancy, our best friend.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Whitford Golf Club on Tuesday, 29 September, from 2pm.

We have had a delay in getting our boy ready, the service will now be held on FRIDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER 2026. Same place. But in the meantime, we can bring him home Wednesday if anyone would like to come see him🤍🤍 send us a message for the address, it’s at his mummy’s 🫶🏽🫶🏽
my heart is broken having to post this.
It is with heavy hearts and beautiful memories that our family shares the passing of our wonderful brother/son Jasiah Samson Love (a.k.a Mr Big Money a.k.a Kayveli the best COD player to live😭) on Saturday 5th September 2026.
Siah passed away suddenly surrounded by all his family after a courageous battle with his health. He brought so much laughter, joy and heaps of sarcasm into all of our lives. We will miss his stupid jokes, arguing with us, and antagonising everyone online so so much. Life is going to be too quiet without you my brother.

Our market family has lost one of our own 😥 With great sadness in my heart would like to inform you all of the passing of Linda Wilshaw. Linda was an amazing person who has been a part of our market family from the beginning. I for one will miss her cheeky humor and infectious personality. She was the kind of person you could yarn to for hours on end and never get bored ❤️
Our market won't be the same without her.

If anyone would like to pay their respects to Linda and her family there will be a memorial for her on
Tuesday 25th August at 2pm in the Ohinewai Hall.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the late Martin Ross Climo, affectionately known as “Rusty,” who passed away at Waikato Hospital on Wednesday, 19 August 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.
