Text: “Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭7‬:‭1‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Title: cleanse your self
God calls us His sons and daughters. then invites us to get clean. He doesn’t say “be holy so I’ll love you.” He says “I love you, so become holy.” pride, bitterness, unforgiveness, greed, idolatry makes us dirty before God. Cleanse yourself and be perfect in holiness. Don’t just wait for God. Take action. Confess, repent, cut off, renew your mind. Because you are God’s child, He will help you become holy.
-“If I truly believe I am God’s son/daughter, what in my life needs to be cleansed today?”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Title: Be who you already are in Christ.
God makes things new instead of throwing us away. He doesn’t just clean the outside. He gives us a new heart and new life. though sometimes we act like we still carry our old nature. we should cut off the old nature in as. and renew our mind with the word of God. Choose obedience because you’re new. This starts now and finishes in eternity.
-Do I really believe God has made me new, or am I still living in shame?
