The Booking system has been updated, taking bookings for Monday 10/08/26 onwards. ( old system for sunday 09/08/26)

We’ve made the move to a new booking system through Fresha to make booking your sauna sessions easier and more user friendly moving forward.

A few updates:
• There is now the 3 tier payment options, and you can still choose to pay on the day.
• A one-time waiver form will now need to be completed and signed (you’ll only need to do this once) which is sent out after making your first booking.
• You now have the option to add guests to your booking
• The new system should make future bookings quicker and easier

Please bear with us while we transition over to the new system. If you have any issues booking or have any questions, please just send us a DM and we’ll help you out.

We’re excited to announce our new location at The Loop Track, in front of the Whangārei Rowing Club.

To celebrate the new spot, we’re offering half-price sauna sessions this Friday only, just $10 per person. 10 spots per session.

5pm & 6pm sessions available
Cold shower and an ice bath will be setup.

Making sauna accessible for everyone

From 1st August, we’re trialling a sliding scale payment option at Journey Mobile Saunas.

We believe everyone deserves the chance to slow down, reconnect, and experience the benefits of sauna, regardless of where they’re at in life.

With the cost of living affecting many of us, we wanted to create a system that allows more people to join our sauna community, while also giving those who are able to contribute a little more the opportunity to support others.

Our new options will be:

$15 — Community rate. For those who need a little more accessibility right now.

$20 — Standard rate. The usual session contribution.

$25 — Supporter rate. For those who are able to contribute a little more and help keep sauna accessible for everyone.

Choose the option that feels right for you. If you’re able to choose the $25 supporter rate, your contribution helps us continue making sauna accessible for our community, while also helping us cover the increasing costs of running and maintaining our saunas.

And as always, if these options still don’t work for you, please reach out, we’re always happy to have a conversation.

We’re excited to see sauna culture continuing to grow here in Northland and are grateful to have been part of building this amazing community over the past few years.

Many of you have recently reached out after receiving follow requests from another sauna-related social media page. We just wanted to reassure everyone that we are, and always will be, Journey Mobile Saunas.

We completely understand why there’s been some confusion, especially with so many of our community, friends, family, and long-time supporters receiving those requests. We appreciate everyone who took the time to check in with us.

Thank you for your continued support, trust, and encouragement. We’re looking forward to continuing our journey of sharing authentic wood-fired sauna experiences, connection, and unforgettable ocean views with our Northland community.
