Staffing Update 😭
We are sadly farewelling Dr Casey and Dr Begona from our team as they reach the end of their NZ stays. They will be so so so missed and we are very grateful that they packed up their families to come and help out our local communities medical needs. They are looking forward to returning home to Spain (Dr Begona) and the US (Dr Casey) and we hope to see them back again someday!! 😁

Their patients will be cared for by our other doctors for a few weeks until we welcome our new locum at the end of June. We will also have additional remote care with Dr Rachael for the next four weeks, she is offering telehealth and video consult options.

Thankyou for your patience with the roll out of our new patient portal, it's here at last! To signup, you will need your NHI number. This can be found on any of your prescription medications, a hospital/specialist letter or the Manage my Health Portal.

You will receive 2 emails, one with a link to login and one with a temporary password. When you login for the first time, a one time pin will also be emailed to you. Once registered, you are able to download the My Indici 2.0 App for on the go access.

We’ll do our best to help if you get stuck, but please remember we’re new to this too!

After a lot of thought, we are moving from the Medtech patient management system to Indici. There will be some bumpy days and reduced appointment capacity as we get used to the change. We greatly appreciate your patience during this time. Please be gentle with our team who are here to support you and give you their best.

We're confident that this switch will improve your experience with our clinic. More information will follow about the Indici features you can access, once we're settled in with day to day functions at our end.

Our determined ECP was motivated by this challenge and has set herself a goal to 100 PUSHUPS EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR A YEAR!!

We have partnered with AA to help deliver their mobile Driver & Vehicle Licensing out of the Waihi Community Resource Centre, once a month, for 2026.

AA Driver Licensing Agents and AA Mobile Units can support you in applying for, renewing and replacing your driver's license and other services.

Please see attached poster for their schedule for the year. If you have any questions or enquiries, please direct them to AA on 0800 822 422.

We are absolutely stoked to be able to have this service running here in Waihi.

We have opted not to restore data syncing with Manage my Health at this time. This means that other services like script requests and nurse enquiries are no longer available through this platform. Scripts may be requested by phoning 078632112 and Select Option 4 or by emailing [email protected]. Please include the specific medications you require, your full name & preferred chemist.
Thanks for your understanding, we appreciate that for some this will be an inconvenience – please be assured that it’s not permanent. We are working on options for securely managing your healthcare online, and more details will follow soon
