šŸ’› A LITTLE THANK YOU TO MY CLIENTS šŸ’›

I’ve always built my work through word of mouth, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful for that.

When you trust me enough to recommend my work to a friend, family member or someone you feel could benefit from a session, it means so much to me. 🄰

So I thought I’d say thank you in a little way…

If you refer someone to me and they book a session, you’ll receive $10 off your next session with me.

There’s no limit on how many people you can refer .. so every time someone you recommend comes along and books, you’ll receive another $10 off your next session.

Thank you for trusting me, sharing my work and helping me reach the people who need it. ā¤ļø

Word of mouth means everything to a small business like mine.

Much love,
Suzie x

August is always a special and emotional month for me, and once again I wanted to honour Liv’s memory by giving something back.

So every client I had the privilege of working with during August went into the draw to win either a session or a beautiful self-care hamper.

And our winners are…

The Session: Nikki Pohe

The Self-Care Hamper: Kathryn Gifkins

Congratulations to you both!

And to every single person I got to work with throughout August, thank you.

Thank you for trusting me, for showing up, for being open to listening to your body and for allowing me to be part of your journey.

Being able to do this work is something I feel incredibly grateful for, and having Liv’s memory woven into it makes it even more meaningful to me.

Looking ahead

I have some exciting courses coming up here in Taranaki, including my upcoming Equine and Canine courses.

Bringing these courses to Taranaki takes a lot of support behind the scenes, and I would love to see them grow here rather than having to travel elsewhere to make them happen.

So if you’ve been thinking about coming along, this is your sign!

And if the course itself isn’t for you, you can still help enormously by sharing the posts, tagging someone who might be interested or simply spreading the word. Every bit of support helps me continue bringing this work to Taranaki.

Back home from Perth and easing back into work this week. šŸ¤

I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to all my beautiful clients and friends for the messages, prayers, love, and support over the past few weeks. It has meant more than I can put into words.

I’m incredibly grateful for the kindness, patience, and understanding shown to me and my family during such a difficult time. Looking forward to slowly getting back into routine and seeing you all again soon. šŸ¤

My beautiful little grandson Tuariki Jayde Tipene, or TJ for short, was born sleeping on Sunday the 3rd of May 2026. An excruciating heartbreak for a beautiful family who had been so eagerly waiting to meet him.

As a family we are completely devastated. The loss of a child is not something a family is ever meant to feel, and the pain is beyond words. But we are also deeply grateful for the incredible love, prayers, messages, and support that have surrounded us during these past days. Every kind word and gesture has meant more than we could ever express.

Watching Brie through this has shown me a strength no mother ever wants to see their daughter have to find, yet I could not be more proud of the courage, love, and grace she has shown through the darkest days imaginable. And seeing her husband Arapeta stand beside her with such gentleness, strength, and unwavering support has meant more than words can say.Through heartbreak, he has held her, protected her, and loved her so deeply. As parents, there is comfort in seeing your daughter so truly supported and cherished by the person walking beside her through this unimaginable loss.
Our hearts also break for little Renee, who was so excited to become a big brother. We know he would have been the most loving, protective, and amazing big brother to TuarikišŸ¤

Thank you to everyone who has held us in your thoughts, prayers and carried us when we didn’t have the strength ourselves. Your compassion has reminded us how loved we truly are.

Tuariki was so very wanted, so very loved ..and will forever be part of our family.

I will be taking some time away while we navigate this unimaginable loss and support one another through it. Thank you again for your understanding, kindness, and continued prayers.

Also please if you can direct any questions or words of condolence to me to be passed on and respect Bri and AJs privacy as they grieve there lossšŸ¤

Just a little update from me ā¤ļø

I’ll be heading to Perth tomorrow to support my daughter through an important time, so my availability over the coming days/weeks may be a little limited while I focus on my beautiful family. At this stage I’m not sure exactly when I’ll be back, but I appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and support while I navigate this.

I’ll do my best to reply to messages when I can, and I’m incredibly grateful for all of my wonderful clients and supporters. Thank you for your kindness and understanding šŸ’›

This week, being part of a funeral has been a quiet reminder of how hard grief is on the body.

We often underestimate the load and pressure our bodies carry when we’re grieving. I know I did, after our daughter died. That experience is partly how I came to Contact CARE.

I now see it as a real privilege to work alongside and support people who are wanting help to ease the load that comes with carrying their grief.

Grief may never leave us, but we can lighten the load… and we don’t have to carry it all on our own.

A new year doesn’t ask us to become someone new.. only to come home to ourselves.

My work takes a holistic approach, integrating Contact Care Flinch Lock Release with supportive strategies that work with the physical body, the mind, emotions, and the cellular layers where stress and trauma can be held.

This year, I’m not focused on fixing or forcing change .. but on creating space for gentle, deep healing to unfold in its own time.

✨ Gentle work. Deep change.

So as the year comes to an end, it’s always a time to reflect and express gratitude.

This year has been an incredibly challenging one for me, and I am deeply grateful for the love and support I have received along the way. They say people come into our lives for a reason or a season, and I’ve certainly found that to be true.

For seven years I have been learning, growing, and adapting what I’ve learned into my practice, and I will continue to do so. I would like to sincerely thank Sheelagh for her support, encouragement, and shared learning over those years — learning alongside others truly makes the journey richer.

Thank you to Debbie for the path we are on now, bringing a more holistic approach to the care we can offer our clients.
To Greg, Fiona, and Arron, who have helped teach courses here in the Naki .. I’ve loved watching so many people eager to learn and grow.

And to my beautiful clients, many of whom have become more like friends and family … thank you for trusting me to support you through your injuries and healing. That trust means more than I can say.

I’m excited for what next year will bring and for what’s still to come. Wishing everyone a safe, restful, and kind holiday season, and I look forward to seeing you again in the new year.

ā€œGrowth is never wasted.. every step shapes who we become.ā€
