People sometimes think therapy is for when life is falling apart, but that isnโt what I see.
I see people trying to hold everything together carrying responsibilities no one else is aware of. I see people navigating grief, relationship challenges, career changes, anxiety, self doubt, and wanting a life that is aligned with their desires and the truest version of themselves.
Some people come because theyโre hurting, and others come because they know life could feel different, even if they canโt quite explain how.
Often what theyโre looking for is a safe place to be heard, supported, and not judged โค๏ธ
While every personโs journey is different, there are some changes that I notice again and again.
People start to understand themselves with greater compassion, and this extends out towards others. They recognise patterns in thoughts and behaviours they couldnโt previously see, start building healthier relationships within themselves and with others, and become more present, self aware, and less reactive.
People often leave each session with more clarity, a way forward, greater feelings of self worth, a new confidence in themselves that continues to grow, and a more loving/accepting view of themselves and the world around them.
What I see is people reconnecting with who they are, and who they want to be underneath all the noise.
My question to you is: what might change if you gave yourself permission to be supported or held for once?
