The Osteopathic Children's Foundation run free clinics providing osteo treatment for children in Hamilton, and in the Wellington region in Lower Hutt.

Jane and Alana volunteer their time each month to work at the Lower Hutt clinic, providing osteo treatment to those who might not otherwise have access to it. You can read more about the foundation or donate at www.ocf.org.nz

Was great to be part of the wider osteopathic group last week at the Osteopaths New Zealand Conference. Some amazing presenters and workshops Jane and I were able to attend and be inspired by!

Our opening hours for the next few weeks look a little different, but if you are in Wellington this Christmas and New Years we still have some options for you if you need us.

Whilst most of our practitioners are taking some well-earned time off, Pam will be available throughout the Christmas break on Wednesdays and Thursdays to help!

Alana is back on board from Thursday 4th, with Beatrice and Joe returning the week of Jan 8th, and Jane and Kate the week of Jan 15th.

Today is the last day at the Kilbirnie Osteopaths clinic before Christmas! 🎅 🎄

Matariki: Te Tau Hou Māori

A beautiful day for the first public holiday celebrating Matariki today!

Being an Aussie, I've had some upskilling to do, learning about Matariki and how to mark it. There's been some excellent media articles with explanations and ideas, and my girls have been crafting, singing waiata and learning about the stars at school.

We'll be spending the time with our whānau, visiting with friends and enjoying some kai, as well as heading out to visit some of the cool events around Pōneke Wellington this weekend. Hopefully also some time to reflect on the busy year just past, and setting some intentions for the year ahead.
