Our tamariki are taking over for Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori! Seeing them go viral while standing proud in their reo and culture is everything—and yes, that's me right in the front cheering them on! Ake, Ake, Ake !

The sound of waiata and te reo Māori filled the grounds of Parliament as hundreds gathered to mark the start of Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori.

This kaupapa is designed to support learning at your own pace and focuses on outcomes towards your personal journey.

No prior experience needed – suitable for all abilities and with step‑by‑step guidance provided.

All tools and materials included, and there are no costs involved.

After a refreshing break from markets to cheer on my daughter's winter sports, I'm thrilled to return, inspired by her dedication and achievement as Netball's Defender of the Year in the new Rippar code, where she kicked off the season with Player of the Day in her first game, and our basketball team earned a spot in A grade, with our first market set at Ngaio Village Market on 20 September.
