Another day another check in with my patients ….

We spend a lot of time in each session ensuring that each person I see understands the importance of why they are doing their rehab, how this affects their recovery and how to ensure they don’t get injured again.

Overuse injuries are usually capacity & loading issues -

So if we

💪🏼 Increase capacity

🦵🏼 Reduce load

🥰 Take care of Recovery (Fuel, sleep, rest, hydration)

🦶🏼 Build load back up once we have greater capacity (& understanding)

😀 We have a happy, healthy human who can do what they love!

We love working with people to keep them active!!

How to Get Rid of an Ingrown Toenail... For Good.

If your ingrown toenail keeps coming back, there’s usually a reason.

The key isn’t just removing the nail—it’s choosing the right treatment and the right clinician.

As podiatrists, ingrown toenail surgery is one of the procedures we perform routinely.

We assess the underlying cause, perform the procedure using techniques designed to minimise recurrence, and guide you through healing to help achieve the best long-term outcome.

If you’re tired of repeat infections, repeated courses of antibiotics, or having the same nail become ingrown again, it’s time to consider a permanent solution.

Don’t just treat the pain. Treat the cause.

📍Book an assessment to find out if nail surgery is the right option for you.

Great advice from HIIT Science for all those youth athletes especially when they see their favourite international players in their sport making it so young.

Sports Specialisation is best after 14-15yrs.

Playing multiple sports before then with different biomechanical/functional movements especially multidirectional sports is both protective and makes a better, more rounded athlete.

Heel pain isn’t something you just have to “put up with.” 👣

If those first few steps in the morning hurt, standing up after sitting is painful, or your heel aches by the end of the day, don’t ignore it.

Plantar heel pain is usually an overuse injury or a CAPACITY issue. Due to the tissues not having enough capacity tk cope with the load placed on them.

IT is Not an INFLAMMATORY injury (why we don’t use plantar fasciitis) & it’s not due to a HEEL SPUR (regardless of what your GP says or an X-ray shows)

The goal isn’t just to settle the pain—we want to do this initially but the GOAL IS to rebuild your tissue’s capacity so you can get back to doing what you love and help stop it coming back.

Plantar heel pain is awful - but treatable with the right advice & tailored treatment plan.

📍Save this Reel for later, or share it with someone who’s been battling stubborn heel pain. If it’s not improving, book an assessment and let’s get you moving pain-free again.

Every athlete has a story.

Mine started in a swimming pool.

As a young athlete, I dreamed of competing at the Olympic Games. That dream changed after a serious car accident and years of rehabilitation.

I’ve experienced the frustration of watching from the sidelines, the uncertainty of injury, and the heartbreak of not being able to do the sport you love.

Those experiences shaped not only who I am, but also the podiatrist I’ve become.

Today, I’m fortunate to spend my days helping children, athletes and active people recover from injury, build confidence and get back to doing what they love.

If you’ve been following my page for a while, thank you.

If you’re new here… welcome. 👋

I’d love to know a little about you too.

Tell me in the comments:

🏃‍♀️ What’s your favourite sport or way to stay active?

👇 I’d love to hear your story

And that’s a wrap! 🌎🏆⚽️🇪🇸❤️

Thanks for the magic, the passion, & the incredible ability of (all) these incredible players!

The commitment, compassion & dedication of these athletes to their game is so humbling to watch.

I’ll miss it all - especially the boots! ❤️😂

🚨 RED CARD: Ignoring Pain 🟥

Pain isn’t something to fear... but it is something to listen to.

One of the biggest mistakes I see is athletes pushing through pain until a minor issue becomes a much bigger problem.

The earlier an injury is assessed, the easier it often is to manage—and the sooner you’re back doing what you love.

⚽ Don’t ignore the warning signs.

👇 Have you ever played through pain and regretted it? Let me know in the comments.
