Ora natural therapy clinic Tui Parker ND My father’s mother was a great influence to me of wholefood diets. So it comes very naturally to me and is almost a part of my being.

Tui Parker ND

My insight to natural therapy was introduced to me by both of my grandmothers and my mother, through healthy diet, naturopathic treatments and rongoã. As a child I was drawn to naturopathy after experiencing significant health improvements through my mother taking me to a naturopath for treatment, after having tried other unsuccessful approaches for regaining my own health. She alwa

ys had fresh organic vegetables from her own garden and used them to make wonderful wholesome meals and preserves, along with using other nutritional ingredients. Living with her throughout various times of my life gave me insight into growing your own fruit with tree and vegetables with gardening. Since then I have always had a passion to grow my own food and spent 6 years of my life working with propogating plants in nurseries and planting them out with landscaping jobs. And more recently with planting out literally hundreds of plants and fruit orchard trees on my property in Kaikoura. My mother’s mother was Tohunga Rongoa Maori (A master of Maori medicine, a herbalist) and her mother was and her mother was and so on. As a young child from the age of 6 through to 11 she would travel with me to the far North of New Zealand to gather Wairakau Rongoã Mãori (Traditional Mãori Medicines), from the forests to make natural medicinal preparations for encouraging good health. Also as a child from the age of 5 through to 11 my Aunt taught me the gift of massage. She use to show me the way of which one should massage and she would then let me practise. So Massage (Mirimiri and romiromi) has been a form of therapy that I have done since a very young age. When I massage it speaks to me and guides me to where attention is needed with each individual patient. Those moments of knowledge are great toango (treasures) to me. They lead me to partake in various Rongoã Mãori Wãnanga (Mãori medicinal workshops) throughout the country (including papers and certificates with Waikato University), to enhance and hold on to the knowledge shared from my elders. My Iwi (tribes) are Ngati Porou, Ngati Uepohatu me Te Whanau A Apanui, no te Tai Rawhiti. All of my experiences in benefiting from better health and also from having seen it in others gave me great confidence in natural medicines and natural modalities. They helped me feel like I too wanted to assist others in their health. So I decided to take my education further by commencing a Diploma in Naturopathy with The Naturopathic College of New Zealand (NCNZ) in 2002, which was gained in 2006. Through my experience as a naturopath and therapist of various modalities, I have developed great skills and gained priceless experience and knowledge. These have given me great interest to raise awareness of the benefits of naturopathy/natural therapies to help educate the community with natural health modalities. I am dedicated to helping individuals achieve an optimal state of health by being readily available to all. To do this I have established a current clinic in Wellington and online to the world to offer consultations, treatments and advise to the public. In the past I’v had experience in running my own health clinic in Kaikoura for two years, where I offered relaxation massage and reflexology and a year on Willis St in Wellington treating with most of the naturopathic skills that I practice with today. I intend to re-establish another clinic to practise in within Kaikoura again in the near future. My intention is to help improve your quality of life and help prevent further health ailments by providing the best possible advice, resources, and therapy for the best possible care and attention to your needs as a client. '' BANANAS...''
A very interesting FACTS

Never, put your banana in the refrigerator!!!...
This is interesting. After reading this, you'll never look at a banana in the same way again.

Bananas contain three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy.

Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes.

But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.

DEPRESSION:
According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier.

PMS:
Forget the pills - eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood.

ANEMIA:
High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anemia.

BLOOD PRESSURE:
This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it perfect to beat blood pressure So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit's ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke.

BRAIN POWER:
200 students at a Twickenham (Middlesex) school ( England ) were helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert.

CONSTIPATION:
High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help restore normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives.

HANGOVERS:
One of the quickest ways of curing a hangover is to make a banana milkshake, sweetened with honey. The banana calms the stomach and, with the help of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while the milk soothes and re-hydrates your system.

HEARTBURN:
Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief.

MORNING SICKNESS:
Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness.

MOSQUITO BITES:
Before reaching for the insect bite cream, try rubbing the affected area with the inside of a banana skin. Many people find it amazingly successful at reducing swelling and irritation.

NERVES:
Bananas are high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system..

Overweight and at work? Studies at the Institute of Psychology in Austria found pressure at work leads to gorging on comfort food like chocolate and chips. Looking at 5,000 hospital patients, researchers found the most obese were more likely to be in high-pressure jobs. The report concluded that, to avoid panic-induced food cravings, we need to control our blood sugar levels by snacking on high carbohydrate foods every two hours to keep levels steady.

ULCERS:
The banana is used as the dietary food against intestinal disorders because of its soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be eaten without distress in over-chronicler cases. It also neutralizes over-acidity and reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL:
Many other cultures see bananas as a 'cooling' fruit that can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of expectant mothers. In Thailand , for example, pregnant women eat bananas to ensure their baby is born with a cool temperature.

So, a banana really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an apple, it has FOUR TIMES the protein, TWICE the carbohydrate, THREE TIMES the phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins and minerals.. It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods around So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say, 'A BANANA a day keeps the doctor away!'

7 things that affect your vibrational frequency from a quantum physics perspective.

Vibration in quantum physics means that everything is energy. We are beings vibrating on certain frequencies. Each vibration is equivalent to a feeling, and in the "vibrational" world there are only two kinds of vibrations, positive and negative. Any feeling causes you to emit a vibration which can be positive or negative.

1st - * Thoughts * Every thought sends out a frequency to the universe and that frequency returns to the origin, so in case, if you have negative thoughts, of discouragement, sadness, anger, fear, it all comes back to you. This is why it is so important that you take care of the quality of your thoughts and learn to cultivate more positive thoughts.

2nd - * The companies * The people around you directly influence your vibrational frequency. If you surround yourself with happy, positive and determined people, you will also enter into this vibration. Now if you surround yourself with complaining, slanderous and pessimistic people, be careful! This is because they can decrease your frequency and therefore prevent you from exploiting the law of attraction in your favor.

3rd - * Music * The music is very powerful. If you only listen to music that is about death, betrayal, sadness, abandonment, it will all interfere with what you vibrate. Pay attention to the words of the music you listen to, it may decrease your vibrational frequency. And remember: you attract exactly what you vibrate into your life.

4th - * The things you watch * When you watch programs that deal with misfortunes, deaths, betrayals, etc. your brain accepts this as a reality and releases a whole lot of chemistry into your body, which affects your vibrational frequency. Watch things that make you feel good and help you vibrate at a higher frequency.

5th - * The atmosphere * Whether at home or at work, if you spend a lot of time in a disorganized and dirty environment, it will also affect your vibrational frequency. Improve your surroundings, organize and clean up your environment. Show the universe that you are fit to receive much more. Take care of what you already have!

6th - * The Word * If you pretend or speak badly about things and people, it affects your vibrational frequency. To keep your frequency high, it is essential to break the habit of complaining and speaking badly about others. So avoid drama and victimization. Take responsibility for the choices of your life!

7th - * Gratitude * Gratitude positively affects your vibrational frequency. This is a habit that you should incorporate into your life now. Start thanking for everything, for the good things and what you consider to be bad, thank for all the experiences you have had. Gratitude opens the door for good things to happen positively in your life.
