Today is the last day to register to attend this Chamber event "Building Sustainable Giving within Business"

One of the most important questions, we would like to explore is, how we recognise when a business is ready for a deeper conversation about partnership. Businesses don’t necessarily say, “We’re looking for a community organisation to partner with.”

So what are the signs? What questions should we be asking, and how do we create the space for a more meaningful conversation about shared purpose and impact?

We are also keen to explore what makes a partnership genuinely valuable for both organisations — beyond a financial contribution — and how we can build relationships that are sustainable, genuine and have lasting impact in our communities.

A free exhibition is on ahead of the September 19 auction, which aims to raise $150,000 for Hospice Taranaki.

The doors are open and the Art (some for sale now - others up for auction) are looking fabulous but we can’t tell you too much because you need to head out and see it all for yourself!

Our team are ready with a warm welcome, the The Vineyard Bistro at Okurukuru have a delicious selection of cakes and treats.

We are truly grateful for the support of not only our community but the Arts community and we encourage you to visit this very special exhibition out at The Vineyard Bistro at Okurukuru.

Today is Daffodil Day — a day when we all pause to acknowledge the impact cancer has on so many people and their whānau.

At Te Kahu Pairuri Hospice Taranaki, around half of the people we are supporting have a life-limiting illness caused by cancer.

We are especially touched, today, by the beautiful delivery of kindness from everyone at Busy Bees New Plymouth 💛
Nicole and Shelley arrived with a generous load of goodies for our team, along with the most wonderful cards - lovingly decorated by their tamariki.

These cards have been made by the future nurses, doctors, counsellors, social workers, fundraisers… the future. 🌱

The wonderful cards are now being shared with our patients and their visiting whānau, bringing a little extra colour, joy to their day.

There is something incredibly special about art from youngsters. They never fail to make me smile. 😊

Thank you, Nicole, Shelley and all the wonderful Busy Bees tamariki and their parents for thinking of Hospice and for sharing your kindness with our patients, whānau and team this Daffodil Day. 🌼💛
