Next fortnight in addition to our Monday at Whare Manaaki, we are starting at Awhi house on Tuesday. This will allow us to book more Whaanau who want to work with us. We are excited for this growth.

Mauri ora whaanau!



Yesterday we had a great success for our Taane day with a good turnout, beautiful kai and great korero! It was a a day of nga honotanga (connections) within the community. We want to mihi to everyone who came along and shared. We are looking forward to seeing the growth that comes out of the connections created from this kaupapa.

A special thank you to Tony Manuel and Tess Hunter who came along from Reefton who were filmed, but I lost the video. Additionally, Josh Mahuika shared his story.

We are looking forward to our Hangi on the 25th of July. We are looking for a community effort in donating food and contributing to the day. If you are interested in contrubuting toward this kaupapa please let us know by emailing: [email protected]
