Even though I’ve lived in New Zealand for pretty much my entire life, I love that I can always come back and see a new landscape fairly easily. I distinctly remember feeling a sense of awe in all of these moments - at Roy’s Peak, watching the first sunrise of 2021 in Whangamata and on the Routeburn track. Getting into nature is such a great way to remember how small you are in the scheme of things. My time here has been special, challenging and worthwhile all at once. I’m most grateful for the ‘extra’ time I had here to explore, spend time with incredible people and I look forward to many more adventures in the future, whatever country I’m in 🏔
