We also treat a variety of skin problems including acne, eczema, psoriasis and moles. Scott is US trained Physician Associate with 20+ yrs of experience who specializes in disease of the skin and skin cancer. Scott has performed over 20,000 skin biopsies, 2,500 surgical excisions and began using Dermoscopy and photography in daily practice in 2013. Scott is a fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA) and New Zealand Physician Associate Society (NZPAS).

๐Ÿ“ Exciting News from Whanganui Skin Centre!

We're thrilled to announce that from Monday, August 3rd, Whanganui Skin Centre will be moving to our new home at Living Waters Castlecliff.

This move brings us together with our fellow Living Waters clinics under one roof โ€” creating a single, purpose-built clinical hub for the Whanganui community. For our patients, that means:

๐Ÿš— Easier parking โ€” plenty of on-site parking right at the door, no more circling the block.

๐Ÿฅ A better clinical space โ€” modern, purpose-designed rooms built for dermatology care, from skin checks to minor procedures.

๐Ÿค More connected care โ€” being alongside our Living Waters colleagues means smoother referrals and a more joined-up experience if you're seeing other providers too.

๐Ÿ˜Š Same team, same care โ€” you'll still be seeing the same familiar faces who know your skin history, just in a bright new space.

We know Rakau Road is a short drive from our old Whanganui location (6 km to be exact), and we want to make this transition as smooth as possible for you. Our phone number, booking process, and appointment times remain unchanged โ€” only the address is different.

๐Ÿ“… The move happens Monday, August 3rd. Any appointments booked from that date onward will be at our new Castlecliff location.

An incredible turnout for our free spot check night - we had around 150 people come through the doors!

From this, we identified over 20 non-melanoma skin cancers and 2 suspected invasive melanomas.

Early detection like this truly makes a difference.
