CLOCKED IN vs CLOCKED OUT with Dr Gareth 💪
Clocked in:
For me, being a chiropractor has never just been about adjusting spines.
I love helping people understand their bodies, uncover what might be holding them back, and giving them the tools to function and live better.
Whether it’s working with someone who’s been struggling for years, helping a family improve their health, running a workshop, talking to people in the community, or simply having a conversation about their health — I genuinely love it.
After nearly 20 years, I still get a kick out of seeing someone connect the dots and realise what their body is actually capable of.
Clocked out:
That’s when the priorities change pretty quickly 😂
Family first. Time outside. Walking to the beach, getting on the bike, paddleboarding, finding somewhere new to explore, or simply taking the kids to the park.
I’m also pretty big on continuing to work on myself — physically, mentally and emotionally. I think if I’m encouraging other people to take responsibility for their health and wellbeing, I should be doing the same.
So when I’m not talking about spines, nervous systems and health, you’ll probably find me with my family, somewhere outdoors, listening to a good book, or getting some exercise in.
At the end of the day, I think the two actually go hand in hand. The more I invest in my own health, my family and the life we’re creating, the more I have to give to the people I work with.
That’s probably what keeps me enjoying both sides of the clock. 👊
