TPO is closed during Level 3 but we are still here for you

If you need lactation support you can call/text the Lactation Consultant on-call during clinic hours 021679837

If you have an appointment with one of the community midwives, they will be in touch with you to arrange how that will happen.

For childbirth class bookings or anything else, please text 0212722808 or message our page and I will get back to you.

For rules around Te Kotuku maternity suite: You can have one nominated person at your birth but no support person at ante-natal appointments or on the post-natal unit. We are very sorry about this but its for everyone's safety at this time.

Fingers crossed we can get back to Level 2 soon :)

Here we go again…
We did it before, we can beat it again.
Midwifery wise we need to keep ourselves, our māmā, pepi and whanau safe.
So, a few things…

1) only visits if absolutely needed this week. I will do phone consults for your appts
2) I am ALWAYS available by phone so please PHONE for anything urgent
3) if phones are overloaded (which did happen last time) please present to maternity if urgent and you can’t get hold of me.
4) ONE support person in labour and that same person for afterwards in postnatal ward and they cannot come and go.
5) if you have any COVID-19 symptoms please phone your GP or the 0800 number
6) when you come to delivery suite to birth you will be questioned about your activities and wellness
7) please wear a mask if you need to be in public and wash your hands
😎 do not panic buy toilet paper- there is plenty to go around
Any updates will be conveyed the best I can, but any urgent concerns always phone 📞

Hey mamas.
If you are under my care, or any LMC (lead maternity carer) please be aware that, now more than ever, we are constantly getting texts, emails, phone-calls that we mean to reply to when answered while caring for a mama in labour or mid-clinic. If we do not reply immediately or at all, please phone back.
Please be patient.
I do not have a receptionist so all work is done by me.
I do have a family and my family time is also very precious so if your query is not urgent, please leave until the next working day to call me.
AS ALWAYS, PLEASE PHONE FOR ANY URGENT CARES.
Be kind, look after yourselves ❤️
