Come with me for a trip down memory lane..
Seven years ago, I made what turned out to be one of the biggest and best decisions of my life- I packed my bags and travelled to Bali to train as a massage therapist. I never imagined just how much that one decision would shape my future.
Looking back over the years, it's amazing to see how far this journey has come...
2019 – After qualifying, I began my career at The Lost Spring in Whitianga, where I spent two years building my confidence and experience.
2021 – I took the leap into self-employment and opened The cabin massage on the 309 Road. It was a huge step, but one I'll always be grateful I took. I will never forget the milestone of having 10 regular clients booking in each week and how hard i worked to get to that point.
2023 – Wanting to make my business more accessible for my clients, I moved into town and opened The massage studio. It was surreal and very daunting seeing my name right on the main street of Whitianga! This is where things really took off for me and my client list grew rapidly.
2024 – I returned to Bali to continue my education and gain further qualifications, because I believe there's always more to learn and better ways to care for my clients. This was a trip I will never forget and being able to take my daughter with me made it even more amazing.
2025 – Another exciting chapter began as I moved into my new space at Tranquilitea, creating a place where massage, the infrared sauna, and the herbal tea lounge all come together to offer a space dedicated to relaxation and wellbeing.
When I look back at where this all started, I feel incredibly grateful. To every client who has supported me over the past seven years- whether you've been with me from the beginning or only recently found me- thank you. Your continued support has allowed me to keep growing and doing what I truly love every day.
