💙 MOVE FOR DEMENTIA – SEPTEMBER! 💙

Come along and join the team as we Move for Dementia throughout the month of September! 🏃‍♀️🚶‍♀️💪

The goal is simple — 30 minutes of movement every day! 🙌 Whether it’s a walk, workout, swim, bike ride, dancing around the lounge room… whatever gets your body moving! 🕺

I’m kicking things off today with a rugged-up 30-minute walk 🥶🚶‍♀️ — because there’s no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing! 😂

Come join us, get moving, have some fun and help raise awareness for dementia along the way. 💙

Did you know our delicious Meals on Wheels are lovingly prepared right here in our rest home kitchen? 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Fresh, wholesome and home-style, our meals are made with care by our wonderful kitchen team and delivered to those in our community who need a helping hand.

Today’s meal features a hearty main, fluffy rice and a generous serving of colourful fresh vegetables. 🥦🥕🍚

It’s more than just a meal — it’s nourishment, connection and a little taste of home. ❤️

Casual Kitchen Assistant – Wyndham Rest Home

We are looking for a casual Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Wyndham Rest Home.

We’re looking for someone who has a positive attitude, works well as part of a small team and is happy to pitch in wherever needed. You’ll be helping with food preparation, serving meals, dishes, cleaning and keeping the kitchen tidy and organised. Most importantly, we want someone who is respectful and caring towards our residents and understands the importance of providing meals in a warm and friendly environment.
The hours are 8am–1pm and 4pm–7pm (split shift).

Must have the right to work in New Zealand

🌟 Virtual Reality Adventure Day! 🥽🌏

Today our residents enjoyed an exciting virtual reality experience, taking them on adventures without ever leaving the comfort of home! 🥰

They enjoyed a farm tour 🚜, got up close with dolphins 🐬, and even checked out a race car 🏎️!

It was wonderful to see the smiles, laughter and excitement as everyone explored something a little different. The residents who participated thoroughly loved the experience! 💕

A fantastic day of fun, adventure and making memories! ✨
