Frozen embryo = weaker embryo? ❄️😳 Most people think so… but here's the truth 👇

With vitrification, embryos are frozen in seconds at -196°C, so no ice crystals form. Most good-quality blastocysts survive thawing, and freezing gives your body time to recover after stimulation. For many couples, fresh and frozen transfers give similar results. Your doctor chooses what's safest for you 🩺

**Not always. 👀**

With azoos***mia, s***m may sometimes still be produced but unable to reach the semen because of an obstruction. In selected cases, s***m may be retrieved and potentially used with **ICSI**. 🔬🧬

🔬 **WHAT IS S***M? — A tiny cell with a BIG job! 🧬**

A s***m cell is the male reproductive cell designed to deliver the father’s genetic material to the egg during fertilization.

🔹 **Head** → carries genetic material (DNA)
🔹 **Midpiece** → packed with mitochondria that support movement
🔹 **Tail** → provides propulsion for swimming

🤯 A s***m cell is only about **50–60 micrometers long**, yet it carries half of the genetic material needed to create an embryo.

Not necessarily. 🔬 A good post-wash sample is encouraging, but **IUI success depends on much more than s***m numbers alone.**
