Honoured and humbled to be featured in Muscat Daily following receiving a Special Mention recognition from the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) during the AAO/WFO Annual Meeting in Orlando, USA.

This recognition reflects a journey dedicated to cleft and craniofacial orthodontic care, research, education, and raising awareness about the importance of multidisciplinary treatment and early intervention for children born with cleft conditions.

I would like to sincerely thank my mentors, colleagues, patients, families, and everyone who supported me throughout this journey. Special pride goes to representing Oman internationally in this field.

I am deeply grateful that our cleft care journey and patient story from Oman was recognized internationally among highly competitive submissions from around the world.

This recognition means a lot to me, not only professionally, but personally — as it reflects the true human impact of orthodontics and craniofacial care.
