Recurring headache with neck pain? It may not be your spine.

Many young adults blame a stiff neck or cervical spondylosis for their headaches. Often, the real cause is migraine.

Dr. Jawahar Marimuthu, Consultant – Neurology, explains the signs to watch for:
🔹 One-sided, throbbing pain lasting 1–4 hours
🔹 Sensitivity to light and sound
🔹 Nausea, vomiting or irritability
🔹 Dizziness or blurred vision

Migraine cases worldwide have risen by 42% since 1990. The good news is that migraine is treatable, with newer medicines and preventive therapy available.

We were honoured to welcome H.E. Shri Prashant Pise, Ambassador of India to Oman, who inaugurated the Cell alongside Dr. Amir Mustafa, Regional COO in the presence of members of the Indian community, Ministry of Health and more of distinguished guests.

Established in partnership with the Embassy of India, Muscat the Cell aims to provide authentic information on India’s traditional systems of medicine and holistic wellness.

A meaningful step in strengthening the longstanding friendship between India and Oman.
