For almost twenty years, Aurora was part of everyday life at Onikano. Many guests over the years took photos and videos with her, talked to her — and very often, laughed with her.
She had quite a personality. She loved saying her own name, and she even learned to imitate the laugh of one of our curanderas.
In her later years, Maestro brought her to his house, which is why more recent guests may not have met her at the centre.
After so many years with us, she remains a very special part of Onikano’s story. 💚
